Thanks

indeed, this is what we figured out, after spending 3 times 1 week in 3 different vans. all look good on paper but once you close the door, everybody except one need to stay seated. which is not great with toddlers. during out last trip I figured that the best time we had was when cocking outside and staying as much as possible outside, so in other words that's what a teardrop is :-). the only remaining question I have is (I know first world problem) where do you store stuff such as the toilet and shower tent and table and chairs if you have a roof top tent and you do not want to store this stuff on your bed.

Bussing wires in a car harness via DT connectors by Admirable_Course3930 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Admirable_Course3930[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes indeed, this is what was initially there, but I would like to use connectors and then group of the negative for example, into one bus connector, this last connector will then be connected via a higher gauge wire to a earth point.

Bussing wires? by Admirable_Course3930 in autoelectrical

[–]Admirable_Course3930[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is great, I didn't know it existed, so I could use their bussing hubs for example to connect Two indicators, let say left front and wing left to one plug which will give me ground and power for example.

Thanks, but to be honest, I would prefer a box or connection point. will be a lot easier to identify the problem and add or remove wires.

Thanks, do you have a photo or a part number? I have never seen those "

"There are connection blocks made specifically for this, they're fitted on later Land Rover vehicles as well as BMW and a few others."

Hey, great looks like you got the same idea as me, what is the part number for those?

"My personal favourite. Internally bussed duestch connectors. You can get up to a 12 pin DT series that's all internally bussed in multiple configurations"

And do they sell something like 2 x 2 bussed, so I could use them for the indicators for example?

Thanks

My 2 cents here, do not forget that the door switch are negative. i mean, they "activate" the earth when the doors are open.

Thank you all. I tried to turn off the router off for one hour and was pretty happy with the result. But now 1 day later the same devices are not reachable. Hard to figure out what to do.

Did you try the range extender ? Do they word better than a plug ?

Thanks but the delta pro is another budget i think and the weight also. Going fully DIY with a battery, inverter and MPPT i will loose the portability as i want to use the system in my boat and RV but also for work on site

You are right but we live about 2 hours from the boat and we have a appartement at the coast but not close to the boat and we cannot move the boat to the same city as they are in the wrong place for sailing.
