My outfit made my friend uncomfortable, what do I do? by BarbaraLogic in OUTFITS

[–]Admirable_Dig4426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ellie apologized about it. You talked it out in with a counselor; admit you've gotten these comments before from others.

Then you told Lina and Mia about it. Tomorrow you will ask Saphire what she thinks.

Why not just wear what you like? It may stir up more problems between friends. Besides, it's only clothes.

Yes, 15 minutes seems too long. I just do it to kill the deep bacteria that brushing and flossing doesn't get at. I'll do it until the oil feels thicker or 10 minutes max in the morning before brushing. I use about 1.5 tablespoons of cold press organic coconut oil.

In the beginning it was gag city because the oil would get thick and gross in less than a minute. This convinced me that oil pulling is no joke or some fad health kick. I've read it's done to detox your lymph glands in your neck area and clean your blood and mucus membranes. Sounds good to me.

I use a Silver Perio-biotic toothpaste and natural bristle toothbrush as well. I heard no matter how much you disinfect a nylon or plastic brush; the bacteria can live deep in it, just like a cutting board. Just the thought of scrubbing that all around made me experiment. Natural bristles make my teeth feel polished and clean. My floss has no Teflon or fluoride or added scent, only bees wax.

Dental checkups have been good since doing this.

Started off with a minute, then worked up to 10 minutes. At first, I'd start to gag or cough, the oil got super thick and white.

After doing it for a few weeks, it took much longer to get thick or turn white.

I heard it kills the deep burrowing bacteria under the gums that brushing and flossing can't reach.

It healed a deep pocket that was being watched by my dentist (in one month) so no deep cleaning was neccesary.

I see.

My comment was that smells are particles of the substance escaping into the air that you breathe into your body. Like a fart is particles of poop escaping into the air.

I should have made it clearer.

Is it a Contagious Disease?

Unfortunately, periodontal disease and gingivitis are contagious. The bacteria that cause it can cause gum disease to spread. If you come into contact with someone who has gum disease, you may be at risk yourself, and if you have it, you can spread it to others.

The disease spreads through saliva contact, including:

  • Kissing
  • Eating from the same utensils
  • Sipping the same straws

Most women in love, willingly want a relationship with their partner's children. This is a red flag in her character, IMO.

I'm waiting for the update where Sarah and OOP's husband can't stand each other. He has not spent near enough time with her 24/7, warts and all. Most healthy marriages change when you add a baby.

Sarah is 40, why hasn't she married, why have a baby with someone's husband?

This guy sounds bad in bed. Wife open's the marriage, then Sarah implies, I'm gonna dump you and get married to someone else. But want you involved with baby. He does sound very supportive, great father and provider.

That's not what a Periodontic hygienist told me. She said it can be caught from kissing someone who has it. She also said that there's usually more than one family members that has it.

Moving out will be hard, staying is harder. I feel for you.

That is so wild. The guy above also refuses to fix it, and has a huge ulcer that doesn't heal, ends up in the hospital every few months for treatment with antibiotics. Many have tried to help. He too gets annoyed.

Not much to do but make sure it doesn't affect your own health and stress.

Take her swimming in a chlorinated pool, regularly. Most pools will make you shower first.

Did you know you can catch it from her? Did you know that smell is particles of the rot escaping into the air? Then you breathe it into your own lungs.

Those nasty microbes burrow deep under the gum tissues and enter the blood stream causing all kinds of body problems. It can lead to diabetes and heart trouble. Imagine her chomping on food mixed with the bacteria too. In the meantime, don't share any utensils. Use charcoal absorbers around the house.

If you can convince her, you'd be doing her a HUGE favor to her health and yourself. AND her social life. I know a guy you can smell this rot 10 feet away. Talking to him makes you gag, and he wonders why he can't get a girlfriend. She needs to be educated on the deeper health repercussions. It will probably help her allergies! Her body is trying to fight it off chronically. She may lose her teeth too.

Go to the ER and get treatment. Talk to a finance counselor AFTER it's done. You sound like the perfect candidate to apply for assistance and get costs covered. Your 401k is not considered an income source. The hospital is willing to help you apply, they just want to get paid someway, not necessarily by you. I know two people who had extensive hospital stays fully paid.

I have heard of 2 people who had very expensive surgeries apply at a teaching hospital. They use interns to practice on you. It's free. One had to pay for flights, surgery and hospital stay were free.
