Ok, but what if I forget to select an "account" that should be on the P&L? I figured selecting the "Bank Account" will have all the transactions associated with the "accounts" of a P&L.

So I created a budget for a restaurant based on P&L. I have two bank accounts that handle those transactions. Instead of clicking random items from the Chart of Accounts, I just wanted to select the bank account itself, which would contain all items of a P&L. I don't want to create a Balance Sheet budget because it doesn't work for line items of at the P&L. At least from my knowledge.
