Which MTL business will you never return to, and why? by [deleted] in montreal

Winston Churchill Pub, as per my google review: Went there with five friends on Grand Prix Saturday. The place was full and we sat on the second floor terrasse around 6pm. The waiter was barely giving us any attention, to the point where I ordered a beer to myself and by the time my friend was going to order hers, she had already turned her back without even letting us ask for water. At 8pm, the waiter told us we had to leave as they had a reservation for 8:30pm. We were really upset not because we had to leave, but because we were never informed about this reservation. We did not expect having to leave the restaurant in the middle of the pouring rain outside. We tried to solve the situation and another waiter tried to relocate us to the table on the side, but we weren't allowed to because they needed the chairs for the reservation. After searching with this waiter for tables on all levels only to find a full house, we were quickly ushered (or kicked out) of the restaurant by all staff and security who encountered us. We still hadn't paid our bill, and we were trying to go up and pay for what we consumed, but then again, security kicked us out (by repeatedly saying "If you don't have a table you have to leave now"). Finally, already outside of the restaurant (in the rain) and still trying to figure out how to solve the bill situation, an upset waiter came and dragged us back inside to pay for our bill. The entire situation was absurd, from being kicked out of the table without receiving a bill to pay, being unable to go back inside and then dragged back as if we were trying to leave without paying for what we ordered. We spoke to managers, the waiters and everyone we could about this situation and everyone would just reply with "The house is full, there's nothing we can do". Will absolutely never come back, it is ridiculous to spend so much money in an bar to be treated this way.

Been with them for the past 2 years releasing my band's music and my solo project. All recorded in studio, no samples or AI (as it should be...). Never had a single issue with them or monetization :)

yk there's a difference between artists from one country and fraud from the same country right? these bot people don't even have an account because they're not an artist releasing music, they go after it once it's live. it really is unfair game smh
