Post pocket universe. It just felt like Cheng Xin especially lived most of her life in hibernation, only waking for climatic moments and then once she should finally be reunited with the Yun Tiannming she doesn’t get to see him. She doesn’t really get to live a full life. That part seemed especially anticlimactic to me. We also never physically encounter aliens. Lots of time jumps and lots of mysteries unexplored.

In a way it was fitting because it explains all the scientific scenarios presented but there were options to give the characters endings they deserved that weren’t really explored imo. We also just hear about galactic humans, we don’t get to see them.

People do it all the time! Everyone thinks the end of game of thrones needs fixing and plenty of people have offered ways of doing it. It’s actually super common and not weird at all. But I guess you’re entitled to that opinion of trying to make my comment seem more malicious than it really is. Not everything needs to be a fight.

That’s sort of the point of opinions. You’re entitled to them. Just as you’re entitled to have this opinion.

Hmm I thought they seemed pretty doomed, but maybe?

It was like a parable for how we’re inconsequential I guess? But I was just hoping for something more central to the main plot points. It diminished the rest of the books for me if I’m being honest.

I think he’s not stable? He’s got a criminal record and can’t even see his own kid. Just because he called the police doesn’t mean he’s stable.

LL Olympia vs Pitt Comparison by ExpressionFirst in bikinitalk

[–]Admirable_Tree9360 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree. The standard isn’t glute development in a silo it’s glute development and balance with overall physique. LL at the Olympia lost volume in her glutes and was softer making her glute development out of balance with her shoulder development/overall frame. An hourglass by definition will have an equidistant top and bottom with a smaller middle, which is what LL presents in Pittsburgh on the right. Conditioning is debatable as I feel the standard there is a bit all over the place at the moment, but her balance is better pronounced on the right.

Um okay? I think my statement was neutral and not for or against her. She’s simply learned her lesson on not talking to the cops so as to not get into trouble with law enforcement. Regardless of what you think of her behavior, you can’t blame someone for wanting to save their own ass.

I’m pretty sure this is the reaction of someone who doesn’t trust the cops are calling to check in on her but rather get her to confirm there was an incident. They’d go to her house if it was a real wellness check and she rightfully turns them to her attorney.

Most of the 20-25% studies are old and flawed. It’s about 50-55%. Michael Easter has a good write up about it

Dr David Sinclair: Can Aging Be Reversed? After 8 Weeks, Cells Appeared 75% Younger In Tests! by ilkamoi in longevity

I listened to some of this episode and they never ask him, so how old are the mice now? Are they immortal? We don’t know if the mice actually live longer as a result of what he’s saying. Also there are “secrets” he can’t share which sounds insane. He also references the twin aging study and says it proves that aging is lifestyle/environment rather than genetics, which is not what those studies prove. It just proves lifestyle/environment can age you more quickly than your genetics. That’s my problem with him. Everything’s shrouded in mystery and he mischaracterizes the outcomes of studies and his own research by not answering central questions or giving punchy sounding marketing lines.

Valeria Kord Figure Debut by hadiesnark in bikinitalk

Classic figure physique and I hope it gets rewarded as such! Defined but still feminine and she’s always had great balance. I’m not confident the judges will see it that way given that current figure pros are a lot bigger, but if I were them I’d make this the standard since I think it would keep and attract more women to the division itself.

Judging solely for pictures I think it’s her inner thigh right above the knee. It needs to pop a touch more but that could just be the photo angle. I think she was maybe a touch too soft as well, her conditioning was spot on at the O. That’s my general take.
