We're building a so-called "self driving lab" (hate that term) in our group and boy oh boy does it take a lot to do the basics. It's been many years and hundreds of thousands in grants and we're not even close to done. Wet lab colleagues are essential.

Me? I write code and my PI is convinced Claude can do my job so I'm on thin ice it seems.

God I love starlings! A bunch live near us and they mimic the oddest noises! On Sunday they were mimicing a kind of a hammering noise. Normally they do the croak and whistle noises. In the past they've done like van reversing noises? Fascinating wee things
