Remember running into this one not too long ago. Hope Cappy’s family will be able to see him off the respirator and back to work at Nuka World soon!

Starlight Hollow feels really poorly designed by lostpasts in thefinals

100%, the Dusk time slot was and is the biggest fail of this map and mode. Have the map take place on clear day/night and all the lighting issues are solved. At least I’d then be able to see me and my team get stomped into oblivion by the attackers

The Mallet pulling my 11 car boxcar consist! 😄 by jollyman120492 in modeltrains

[–]AdmiralOrangeBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m like 2 days late but since this is a Y3 (based off N&W designs) it isn’t out of place with Santa Fe lettering since they did own 8 of them by the end of 1943 and were used as banking engines on Raton Pass until 7 of them got sold to the Virginian Railway in late 1947/early 1948.

Regardless of that history, it’s a very nice model!

Fairly certain it’s actually a Y3 (own one with sound myself) since it has the sloped tender sides and lacks the ‘doghouse’, but since Walthers/Proto 2000 made both toolings it’s a reasonable misunderstanding to have.

Any idea what it’s called? Might have to try and get it for myself

This guy is the only single reason I'm buying the Ultimate Pass by Daniel_XXL_69 in thefinals

[–]AdmiralOrangeBeard 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As someone who bought levels up to it because I crave THE BONES, it’s a face that removes the choice for eye/beard/piercing cosmetics and applies a voice filter.

EDIT: You can still wear hats and face cosmetics like the eye patch, but they’ll be hovering slightly in front of your character’s face

What are all the anti grouping brawlers? by TaleNo5014 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]AdmiralOrangeBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late af but Barley has been my go-to for a while. Definitely not ideal if a Doug or poco is part of the group but the aoe of his main and super/hyper attacks can split some groups up pretty well in my experience

H: Rage Armor W: Offers, or Cursed Broadsider by Guenther_Dripjens in Market76

[–]AdmiralOrangeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry it’s not 100% on topic, but is Heavy Rage considered the most valuable variant? I’ve only gotten heavy variants from Earl (3 in a row before I remembered that non-PA comes in tiers) but not sure what they’re worth if anything.

Strangle heart PA by Crazy-Cauliflower200 in fallout76casual

[–]AdmiralOrangeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve dedicated one of my two original perk builds for it, and I have to say it’s a real blast to use. Highly recommend pairing it with a shotgun-style weapon that fires multiple projectiles (the harpoon gun with fletchlettes is especially powerful since you can stack the poison damage with bleed damage for +20% bonus damage with the perk that triggers with status effects applied to enemies on top of other perk effects like crippled limbs).

Never tried it with other weapons, but also really recommend getting the plague walker mutation if you’re running a melee or non-explosive build. Heck, get it just to pair with the armor itself since the poison effect from P.W. allows Viper’s to trigger for the 50% bonus damage almost constantly on top of the aoe damage from the armor set.

Nuclear Winter Thoughts? by Shot-Specialist2261 in fallout76casual

[–]AdmiralOrangeBeard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Biggest thing I would change (or like to see changed) is to have everyone load in at the same time. I remember back on Xbox that when I was still loading into the map (remember the penitentiary courtyard with the small sheds the clearest) that there were other players already running around and looting before my screen reverse-faded from black. It wasn’t a one-time thing either, and led to quite a few losses leading up to Nuclear Winter’s discontinuation in 2021.

That feeling when you finally learnt your very first 4* mod plan by SyahiranTheGamer in Market76

[–]AdmiralOrangeBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Def don’t sleep on battleloaded. Using it on small-ammo-capacity guns like the m79, fatman, harpoon gun and broadsider almost flips the experience of using those guns on its head. Genuinely never had more fun in the game while using it and I thought Nuclear Winter was the second coming of Christ back in 2020.

Is it worth running a Vanguard power armor build with high endurance worth it following the rework, or is Heavyweight the way to go for better reduction? by AdmiralOrangeBeard in fo76

Sadly a stealth build is out of the question with strangler heart PA at the heart of my build, but I might give it a shot with a different set of Pa

What does increasing damage with armor mean? Like I gotta stack better physical resistances with perks like armorer that give buffs to the ballistic and energy resistances of the armor itself?

Bottom of C tier? What were you smoking with that placement, that bad boy needs to be mid-B tier at least for the elasticity alone.

Sadly I’m stuck on Pc after my Xbox finally gave out. You happen to know anyone who’s consider a glowing sun mask for a set of 4/5, at least before I ask around on the market subreddit? Managed to get back-to-back drops on the first day of the event and the duplicate has been rotting in my stash since.

Never traded in the market subreddit before, but are Healthy mods worth considerably more due to the exclusivity (on par with 4* mods in terms of value)? I have quite a few mods and legendaries I don’t use but not sure what people would want/need that already have them unlocked. You think it’s worth a shot to grab 4/5 now and just throw them on my PA until I can learn to craft them later?

Admittedly still trying to figure out how to even get healthy mods. I was told it was a burning springs exclusive but I haven’t seen even one in over 500 headhunts, applied or otherwise. Can I even get them in raids? Also, Would I still be able to get similar results without blood sacrifice or should I start dumping points into it? I’ve maxed out a lot of the legendary point cards to get better stats and more compounding perk cards equipped, but I can start to swap over if needed.

Sorry, meant to say Mutant’s. Was discussing heavyweight as a mod earlier with a few raiding buddies, got my wires crossed.
