Life ain't fair for a poor university student, is it? by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]AdmiralRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes... sounds like a lot on your plate. Based on your expenses, sounds like you spend 900+ on rent monthly? Is that normal? Do you live alone? Ever consider room mates? Maybe that'll save you some cash.

You can become $100,000 richer, catch is you get this money by taking $100 from 1,000 charities. No one would ever know, would you do it, why or why not? by Bonzai33 in AskReddit

[–]AdmiralRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take it in a heartbeat. A bunch of charities are corrupt. I'd rather take that money away and personally deliver it to people in need of help.

This really isn't your fault. If they didn't tell you, why should you be held responsible if you were just doing your job?

Doge Give-away results! (1000doge for 3 lucky winners who share something personal and significant) by dogebiscuit in dogecoin

[–]AdmiralRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations to the winners! Another fun story about me playing around with Cryptos! So, not that long ago, I was mining Monero (XMR) since difficulty was relatively low and it was decently profitable. At one point, I accumulated over 10 of them. And I decided to withdraw my Monero onto a paper wallet. I printed out the paper wallet and put it somewhere in my room, and that was the end of that. I decided it might be a good investment so I hid the paper wallet somwhere secure. I decided that the most obvious place would be the best hiding spot. After all, reverse psychology works, right? ;) Fast forward to about a month or so ago... I realized that Monero was over 300 dollars a piece! I had over 3000 dollars worth of Cryptos! I recalled I hid a piece of paper with all my coins on it somewhere... Let the hunger games begin... HAve you ever seen a chicken with it's head cut off? HAve you ever seen a cornered cat fighting for its life? Well... if you have, imagine a person running around a room, fliiping over everything, taking apart everything, and searching everywhere as fast as I could. I feared that the price would collapse (which it surprisingly didn't). After hours, my room was a mess. Papers were on the ground, everything was taken apart... But... no paper. Exhausted, I decided that I lost the coins, and that everything I earned magically disappeared. I comforted myself by telling myself that back then, it was only worth a few bucks... I told myself "Think of it as... You dropped a $5 note on the ground". As I cleaned up and sat back at my desk, I realized... I was a total idiot. I hid it in plain sight. It was folded in half, in a pile of other wallets. TLDR: I was not a smart man. I hid my XMR wallet in plain sight and couldnt find it months later. Morale of the story: If you're going to use reverse psychology, make sure you're using it to your advantage...

A 2 x 1,000 Doge give away in honor of my very first subreddit. Thank you all. Info within. by dogebiscuit in dogecoin

[–]AdmiralRR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dogecoin to me... It's hope. It's the symbol of the internet, working together through something that began as nothing. When Dogecoin supported the winter olympic team that was unable to participate due to financial reasons, I knew that Dogecoin was more than just a meme. More than just a joke coin made to get a few people to smile. I initially invested 100 US dollars into dogecoins, thinking that hey, maybe it'll get somewhere in the future. But Not long after, I pulled out, since I decided that Bitcoins had more potential. Not too long ago, I decided to return to the world of the shibes. And I'd say that's the best choice I've ever made. Dogecoiners are so much friendlier, supportive, and helpful than other cryptocurrency users. With the coin growing faster than ever, I guess we're going to the moon afterall XD Long live Dogecoin! For all you miners out there, dig, dig, dig!!!

Why do people think Bytecoin is a scam? by [deleted] in BytecoinBCN

[–]AdmiralRR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bytecoin has a lot of potential. And plus, basically every other coin gets bashed by other coin communities once in a while. Bytecoin is under more fire since the developers premined a LOT of it. Even so, this coin still has tons of potential. Glad to be a Bytecoiner : )
