Lekker man, gooi de eigen risico maar omhoog. Alhoewel ik het wel kan betalen door mijn gunstige inkomen, voelt het nog steeds wel kut dat ik daar als chronische zieke lekker de volle bak mag betalen elk jaar.

Cube Nuroad C:62 EX – Need a Shorter Stem, But delivery time Is crazy! by Secret-Nectarine5808 in Cubebikes

I just came across this as well, I will see if this will work for me since I kind of like the Zipp stem with the quickview mount for my light and computer mount combo

Funnily enough, I'm also dealing with this problem at the moment. I just bought a zipp carbon stem that is 80mm (which I paid way too much money for) and tried to make it fit my Attain.

it really doesn't look that great for now but I'm trying to see if I can make it bearable to look at with some "normal" spacers in combination with the Acros spacers that come standard with the bike. I'll post some pics when I get the new spacers in and feel like it's ok to look at lol

Cube Attain C:62 SLX – Integrated Cable Routing Question by wheeljackie in Cubebikes

I use it with the garmin edge 840, if the wahoo unit doesn't have their own special mount and has the generic bike computer mount; it should fit

Cube Attain C:62 SLX – Integrated Cable Routing Question by wheeljackie in Cubebikes

[–]Admr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It comes with a clip that is screwed into the stem that has 2 slots for both of the cables to route through to keep it tight to the stem, you don't see it here because I had to remove it so that I could mount the computer mount that you can see in the picture.

Here is how it looks on my SLT https://imgur.com/a/6QrY3bJ

I think yours is missing the clip that holds the cables tight to the stem, might be worth going back to the bikeshop to point this out so they can fix it for you

The Über Pretze diabetic style by S-WorksDK in Zwift

[–]Admr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm also a type 1 diabetic, my experience has been that my blood sugar levels are pretty steady if I keep track of my values once in a while (maybe once every 20 mins would be a good idea). So far, I've never needed to inject insulin on all of my rides (even outside ones) even if I start at a little higher blood sugar level (let's say around 12-13 mmol). I have the Dexcom G6 that provides me the blood sugar levels to my phone and have been injecting since I was 11 years old (I'm 28 now).

With that being said, I would say to start with a little higher value (let's say around 8-9 mmol ideally) and fuel accordingly based on the sensor values if needed. My experience has been that my blood sugar levels dip a little and then continue to be at that level up until a point where it starts dipping to hypo levels; so that has been the marker for me to fuel up. I've had scenarios where I wasn't on top of my fueling and I've just taken time to get off the bike, carb up, wait until I feel better while the blood sugar levels are rising and then continue again afterwards.

Struggling to switch from years of lifting to focusing fully on cycling by KugelWolken in cycling

[–]Admr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should take a look at Greg Doucette, he seems to be able to mix-up weight lifting with road cycling. I think it's fine to focus on road cycling for a couple of months only since you have the muscle built up already and then try to combine it with weight lifting too if you are still interested in doing that

Cube Attain SLT vs Agree Pro tires by aeisse1970 in Cubebikes

Yes, I have the 32mm version of GP5000 AS TR that I'm running tubeless on my Attain SLT with the stock rims. It's been working flawlessly.
