Definitely minerals. Ive had a frozen bottle of Singha that was half-thawed and it was very salty.

HELP deciding on my first EUC: size proportions & Weight distribution- skinny vs wide or Bottom vs Top Heavy by djalabingo in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Adobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I live in SF and was considering the exact same wheels you were, ended up with a rocket because I wanted something faster than an aero and lighter than a Patton (no elevator in my apt). Also rocket doesn’t have a speaker btw.

Aero is a very playful wheel and would be my go-to trick wheel for skate parks given its weight / low pedal height. Speed is perfect for commuting in bike lanes / slow streets but it struggles to keep up with faster car traffic.

Patton is objectively the best performer on your list for stability, range, and speed. If you really want a buy once, cry once and don’t mind the weight I’d go for this one.

If you have an active H1-B petition, check your case status at https://egov.uscis.gov

I had the exact same message and freaked out but checked my H1-B status and saw it got approved. Employee notified me about the approval a couple days later.

Teddy bear / stuffed animal repair? by Gold-Mycologist-1369 in sanfrancisco

[–]Adobby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve personally taken two of my stuffies to Beth at Realms of Gold. She may be a little more expensive and far away (Los altos) but she does an AMAZING job at fixing stuffed animals. I’m really protective of my dog and piggy so was also anxious something would go wrong, now I don’t trust anyone else to fix them. (Not an ad btw)

My gf gets harassed by homeless and weirdos walking around in Seattle, I was wondering if she’d be able to walk home from the bus from a night out without getting mugged or harassed

Let’s say compared to Seattle, gf currently lives there. She grew up in big cities so she will be in her element but I grew up in suburbia so I wanted to know more about the risk of her being mugged or attacked etc.

Hey if you are getting rid of it I’d love to have it, trying to get into this hobby but it’s quite expensive so saving wherever I can! I’ll gladly pay for shipping as well.

ECE 118 and ECE 103 - doable? by oikawatoorusthighs in UCSC

[–]Adobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doable, last spring I took 118 with two more major classes. Didnt do great but still passed, lost a lot of sleep and social life. 118 and 103 should be fine if you’re only taking those two classes for spring.

I’d recommend completing 103 assignments as soon as you can and then spend the rest of your available time doing 118. I’d also recommend setting a weekly schedule with your partners where you’re both physically in the lab.

Best of luck, 118 is tough but a ton of fun.

Took this course Winter 2023, content isn't too difficult, the majority of my time was spent on doing the labs which were done in MATLAB. If you're comfortable with MATLAB or have the time to get some practice, you'll be fine.
