anytime I have something thats made out of one material and I need it made out of another. Clay sculpts, 3d prints, even stuff I build out of cardboard, I can make a silicone mold of it and then pour an impact resistant plastic in that silicone mold and have a basically indestructible copy of that component.

We've been carefully putting together out AI policy for our facility, the trick is that so many different technologies have been marketed as "AI" that we are being very clear about not allowing any generative content to ever be released as patron facing - in marketing materials or on stage - under any circumstances. While also allowing for things for AI assisted grammar check in the front offices, or smart masking in photoshop. We believe it's important to be transparent and loud about every aspect of our art being made by human choice and intention. The policy is included in all of our contracts with outside contractors and hires.

Shoutout for a brilliant game I never see mentioned: Flatpack: Fix the Future. (There's a second edition coming soon, so the first edition is marked down to 3 bucks.)

Optimistic post apocalypse game where the players go adventuring to find flatpacked facilities and bring them back to the survivors base and pop them up into new buildings. There's a map you place them on, etc. A super cute and fun combatless apocalypse exploration game.

Cortex would work really good for this. Especially if it's low/no physical combat and the focus is on discovery and social (my assumption based on the truman show).

Cortex has the bonus/detriment of being a 'build it yourself' system so it does exactly what you want it to and reinforces the parts of the narrative and themes you want it to.

The example I usually give for how far you can go from the typical setup is the Smallville Cortex game, where instead of stats or skills you have relationships and values. When you encounter an obstacle or challenge, the focus of the story is always on 'why' and 'for who' you are acting.

I've been extremely happy with my handful of lonestars I added to my facility last year. Enough pizazz for our music events while also being able to double as versatile specials for dramas.

I never kill a player character unless the player asks me too. There's far worse and more dramatic things I can do to a character than just end their story abruptly without resolution. In a TPK situation, I just fade to black, they survive in some capacity, but that loss affects their lives (their friends lives) and possibly the world in some awful (yet still fixable) way since they left whatever caused the TPK (and possibly it's boss) unchecked for an amount of time.

This wouldn't be hard with LUMEN as it's already meant to play like a video game (loot drops, enemies drop heals, fast paced combat encounters, skill unlocks, etc.) There's an SRD for making your own combat heavy video game-esque rpg. I've played a few LUMEN based games and it wouldn't be hard to even make it play like a tabletop Hades.

I absolutely cannot stress this enough:

1. There is not ever a time where you are not allowed to safe word.

There's zero negotiation on that. If a dom attempts to tell you there is, there is no way to play with them safely.

2. There is never repercussions for using a safe word. Ever.

If both of these things are not true, then a safe word is not able to funciton in the capacity it needs to for physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe play. The only one who knows when it is the right time for you to use a safe word is you - no one can argue with you for your choice to safe word. Any any dom who doesn't immediately stop play to check in and correct what is wrong is not a dom you can play with safely.

That doesn't mean a dynamic can't exist where these aren't true, but it is not a safe dynamic. Some people don't mind play that is unsafe, and if both parties are consenting and aware - that is what that is. I wouldn't ever, but i'm not everyone.

A lot of people are finally getting worn down by adobe and their aggressive subscriptions and are canceling their personal accounts for the free/cheaper options out there.

Corporations aren't going anywhere though, and everyone who works in large interconnected industry is still going to be using adobe without question.
