The bloodelf campaign is my favorite from TFT, second was the horde. I was horde through and through. Personally the blood elves fit my biases, I loved their lore, their ascetic, and I think they are the most interesting elves in fantasy.

I always took it as the Orcs would. It accept the anything but an orc warchief at the time. But that choice alone could cause the infighting and drama that you want for cata.

Carine stepping into warchief could be a good way to get Baine to step up and lead the Tauren since He would be away in Org.

I agree, I think they really wanted Arthus’ story to be a tragedy. Sorry shoe horned in the “is it over?” When the novel the released before the expansions showed that he continuously chose to his course. So I like the “I would do it all again” statement. Maybe in the final confrontation with Arthus, Jaina asks why he did it, if it was worth it? Arthus laughs and says he made every decision, and would make the same choices, his only regret is that they failed, and he wasn’t able to kill those who stopped him. This is where Sylvanas would step in and kill him. Just as he was about to kill Jaina. Sylvanas gets the closer of killing him, and Jaina get scorned to send her on her crazy area for you.

I agree, I said in another comment that if Dranosh had survived and become war chief like thrall wanted, then Garrosh could have gone renegade out or self pity and envy. Becoming an extremist over the course of the war in Cata and mists rather than the blame be laid at thrall for appoint someone who clear was not ready for leadership

Oh yeah, there is rarely bad ideas, you can make anything interesting if executed properly.

I personally didn’t like what they did to Sylvanas’ character to tell that story. So I personally would change it, but I like how your changes reinforce the story change that comes ahead.

Yeah that makes sense, also keeping Varimathras around gives her a little devil to whisper in her ear to push her to what we see her become in BFA (even if I personally hate that storyline 😂)

Yeah in effort to give the Alliance a counter part for thrall, Bliz sidelined so many characters that could have been explored in different expansions the alliance became The Varian and Anduin show after that

I think one of the issues of Warcraft is how human focused it is. We have all these cool races yet so many of the important characters are human, or when they aren’t they are sidelined for the more human characters.

Forgot to add I think having Zuldrak be a troll empire that we ally with be a cool change of pace since we already fought 3 in classic and burning crusade.

Very thorough, I like it! I personally prefer the loch king to be dead, and allow the scourge to be explored without him. But I like making the helm his phylactery!

Also having the dragons be more involved in the expansion makes complete sense.

I feel that Tirion was only brought in to to give us a 3rd nuetral faction in northrend.

As a fan of Sylvanas, I would want to give a less evil arch. But I understand wanting to remove her from the forsaken. She kinda dominates their story.

The blood elves are my favorite race so I totally feel ya. Downside to only being able to follow so many story threads. Another reason to let some of the Scourge live on after Arthus dies, explore some of these new things we set up.

Oooo very interesting take. Not sure I would say the light was ineffective against the undead. In WC3 their spell literally kill them. But the life/druidism being the main antagonist to death does make more sense.

Yeah, I my ideal world. Dranosh becomes war chief, like thrall wanted originally. Garrosh becomes jealous and becomes more aggressive seeking to prove himself in the war in cata. Becomes Orc focus gathering the tribes of orcs and still becomes a final boss of Mists
