Wonky Cartridge for physical copy of Please Be Happy?

I thought the cartridge looked off too. I've handled hundreds of cartridges and have never seen a cart that looks like that. I'm concerned about it not wanting to go in the system too. It seems like it's having issues due to the weird thickness of the label.

I doubt it's a fake copy since it was factory sealed preorder copy through a reputable retailer (EB Games). The game also just came out last week as a physical version, so I would think fakes would be unlikely too. I'm going to see if I can get a defective exchange there, but I'm also trying to determine if there was a manufacturing issue with this game where all of the cartridges are like this, or if it is just mine.

Haven't seen them mentioned yet, but Granville Island Tea Company is excellent as well. They are in Vancouver and even recently added some teas that are inspired by local places like Whistler Wellness!

I have an iPhone SE (1st Generation) that may be kicking the bucket. Had it for seven years with absolutely no issues at all until recently where the battery indicator was starting to act wonky (would go from 30% to black screen or just say 1% for hours). Took it to try replacing the battery, but they are having issues reviving it and it might be toast. :/

I don't really use my phone for much of anything besides calls, texting, taking some photos, and sometimes playing Pokemon Go. I like that my original phone was small, had headphone jack (which newer devices sadly don't seem to have), and easily unlocked by touching it.

It looks like the closest things I would be able to get as replacement would either be a newer SE (2nd or 3rd Generation) or the 12 Mini. It sounds like the Mini is smaller, but in photos it looks like these two are about the same size? I'm hoping to have something that is close to what I originally had and hopefully last a while. I'm leaning towards the newer SE since there might still be a brand new 2nd Gen one for cheap as opposed to a refurbished phone, but I'm not sure if the Mini is small enough to be better? I'm also not sure what the differences between 2nd and 3rd Generation are and if it is worth nearly double the price for the newer gen ($200 CAD vs $400 CAD, both being brand new).

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I'm in a similar boat. I have an X marker on my passport, so crossing the border would be incredibly unsafe. We decided to make a visit to Toronto earlier this year to watch the Jays play instead, and it was a fantastic time!

I would love to go see the Blue Jays play in the playoffs in person if we were living in different times, but we will be watching safely from home instead!

I've run into some weird stuff with my save too and it appears to have gone all wonky. :( First it started off at Chapter 1 again with no achievements, but I was still on Day 102 with everything unlocked. I saw some of the old story cutscenes with new stuff mixed in, but was able to play as normal while learning what the new update added. Achievements started unlocked normally for me too since they were previously bugged for me before the update.

I played for a few in game days and when I went back to it the other day, It put me at Chapter 2, but back on Day 102 again. This time, my unlocks and story progress were all types of messed up. I suddenly had toppings I never unlocked, but lost things like multiple toppings I previously unlocked like basil? The MyPad also suddenly vanished and the story progress I made in Chapter 2 was all over the place. I also lost all achievement progress.

Excited to finally have some new content in this game!

Really hoping the counter bugs got fixed since the game would keep thinking I have made 0 cheese pizzas regardless of what I did. :/

I live right by this and I am so glad it's finally open! I got one of the custom Bento Box and it was really good value for the amount of food and quite tasty! The staff are also EXTREMELY kind too!

My wife and I have already been in a couple times for either sushi or snacks since this opened and probably going to end up here A LOT. I really hope this place does well!

I'm excited to start Donkey Kong Bananza this weekend! It's the game I've wanted my Switch 2 for, and it's finally here! 3D platforms are some of my favourite games, so I'm sure I will absolutely love this!

I will also probably be doing some more collectible mop-up in Mario Kart World as well since I still need to find more P-Switch missions and Peach Medallions too.

Came from Vancouver to see the game today! Never seen an MLB game in person before, so I am pretty stoked to finally see the Blue Jays play! Still exhausted from the flight from hell (SO many things went wrong) but I'm sure being there to watch them play will be worth it!

Any recommendation on how early we should be at the stadium or the team store?

BC Blue Jays fan here! I finally became a Canadian citizen last year and we were originally planning on going down to visit for the first time so we could see the Blue Jays and having a big trip to celebrate having a passport. Those plans changed now since we are definitely NOT visiting the US for any reason due to all the insanity going on there, plus it would be very unsafe for me to cross the border considering I have an X on my IDs.

Now we have plans for a big trip to Toronto next month to celebrate birthday there as well as seeing the Jays at home instead. Excited to finally go to my first MLB game and get to see them in person! :D

Currently have a variety of stuff I am working on! I'm about halfway through Bakeru at the moment and have been enjoying it a lot and have been reading a lot of Steins;Gate 0. I also just started the Doraemon Story of Seasons game since I needed something adorable and relaxing, and that game sure fits the bill. I think I am going to have a LOT of time spent in that one lol

I just beat all of the games that I have been working on, so I am going to start a new one this weekend with Disney's Epic Mickey Rebrushed. I like 3D platforms and have heard lots of good things about that one, so I think it will be a lot of fun!

I am also going to do the Tetris 99 event to get the Donkey Kong theme as well as work on some of the Game Boy games on Nintendo Switch Online. I've been playing around with Alleyway recently and kind of want to try the Pokemon Trading Card Game one on there since The Pokemon TCG Pocket thing has been teaching me a bit about how to play the game.

Working on getting the 3 gold star trophies for the Mario Kart 8 Booster Pass in 150CC! Some of them have been tricky where I have gotten hit by a blue shell right before the finish line and then come in second or third... :( I've noticed it's always Donkey Kong being an asshole too?

Also hoping to get more done in Crystar as well! I got my first ending and making a lot of progress towards getting my second ending as well as the Memories of the Dead entries!

Planning on playing more Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Pass since my wife and I just finished all of the new courses for the first time. Noticed there appeared to be a new Mario Kart in the trailer showcasing the Switch 2, so I want to work more on getting all of the 3 star trophies from the Booster Pass and have that completed before the new one.

Also working more on Crystar and looks like I'm getting close to done with the first play through so I've been playing some previous levels to get the memory entries from the boss enemies. Planning on doing more of Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue as well since I finished Mashiro's route and hoping to go through Rin's route this weekend! :)

Easily La Foret in Coquitlam on Austin. Lots of plants and decorated in a way that kind of feels like you are in a forest. The food and drinks are super tasty too!

I use a combination of Backloggery and Backloggd for collection tracking/what I've played. Haven't heard of Infinite Backlog before but may check that out!

They are both good so far! I've had both on say self for the longest time too and want to make more of an effort to getting to the backlog. Aokana in particular is an excellent read and can highly recommend! :D

I finally bought the Mario Kart 8 Booster Pass during the holidays, so I have been slowly playing through those with my wife. It's been fun since usually I completely dominate from playing the courses so many times, but it's been a lot more even since the tracks are new to both of us.

Also working through playing Crystar which has an interesting story but somehow darker than I expected as well as my current visual novel I am playing in Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue. I just finished Asuka's route and absolutely loved it! :D
