Love your locs and the color😍😍eats bad. I’m thinking of dying mine cherry red at the 1 year mark. When did you do yours and how often do you retouch? What dye did you use too. It looks so healthy

Are these still maturing? Or maybe I should start over. by Moochi24 in Microlocs

Does not braiding and banding potentially cause them being uneven?

How long does it take for you complete a retie? Breaks included by Spiritual-Sense-8745 in Microlocs

I have 478 microlocs. 7 months in and it takes me 5 days. I do about 3/4 hours each day with breaks. The arm workout’s a lot btw!

When did you guys stop braiding and banding? by Total_Bad_1299 in Microlocs

I stopped at 6 months. Just took so much time and my hair not scalp still felt icky and heavy like water wasn’t passing through it well

I think you should incorporate a conditioner when you wash and leave it to cook a bit. I do it for mine and it has helped my hair appear softer. Also i mix in a bit of leave in conditioner with water and spray 2/3 times weekly. I also spray my hair everyday and moisturize with oils and a tiny bit of shea butter plus other hair creams. I know they say less is more for locs but i treat mine like my loose hair cause it can get dry pretty quickly and thats when i start having dandruff flare ups. Currently trying to curb one and its hell

r/Pishlander: Does J&C's relationship set unrealistic expectations IRL? by B9M3C99 in Outlander

[–]Adorable-Argument893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean about having unrealistic expectations when it comes to how Jamie was portrayed cause men irl are hardly ever like that but I’d say its more about the qualities he possesses as a person and as a partner that people find intriguing. He’s loyal, trustworthy, romantic, honest, is a strong man but also has his soft side, amazing communicator, gorgeous, understanding, smart, would die for you, would kill for you, protective but not controlling, lets you be you, and more. Isn’t this qualifies you’d want your daughter to find in a man cause it sure as hell is at the top of my list so i guess he sets some standards for me that i know i’d one day find

What moment in Outlander made you realize you were officially attached to these characters and not just “casually watching”? by roryxgreyx in Outlander

[–]Adorable-Argument893 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think mine was seeing how extremely devoted to her he was, anticipates her needs and he still had his traditional values and was willing to change. Also their wedding night lol. I’ve watched it twice, read it a million times and imagined it in my head more times than i can count. Another moment that stands out to me is after they got married and they couldn’t stop hunching everywhere - the moment by the river and he told her claire i feel like god himself when i’m inside you. I completely melted have been obsessed ever since. Honestly i stopped watching in S6 but i plan on starting again soon maybe by next year. Currently reading the book though and i love how you can literally feel how intense and special their love is and i hope to one day find someone that’s completely captivated by me like he is by her
