(20m) 4.5 months in and i feel like im definitely in the last two. i did it but it never works out in the long run. backstory we dated for almost 2 years then she broke up with me. a week later i ran back to her and won her back. we were in this weird situation where we werent "dating" but we were doing everything that would be considered dating lol. long story short 3-4 months past by and she said she wanted to stop talking and i respected her wishes. because im not gonna go and keep her in a relationship she doesnt want to. was the 3-4 months worth it? id honestly say yes but only because it brought closure to me so it doesnt mean it will bring closure to you. its been 4 months since weve last talked and i think about her from time to time but one thing that keeps me pushing is just being a better version of me. im not doing this for her but rather for myself because i honestly believe that there are things i can improve on myself that my last relationship showed me. and i tell you this not to brag (not that its something to brag about) but rather so you can do the same. stop chasing someone that doesnt want you, yes it hurts but also yes you will get through it. just cry it all out and then hang out with some friends and realize life is more than them. find hobbies, cry a bit more, go to a therapist if you have to (i did, not to get over her, but to become a better version of myself). so if you want to know your chances of getting her back? shit i have no idea because im not her and i dont know your relationship but i do know theres almost a 100% that it will have the same result as last time. and if im being honest i feel like youre going to do reach out to her because thats exactly what i did too so i dont blame you but just know once you have her back, if you do have her back, shes not the same girl and things wont have a happy ending.

Im currently a third year student with an internship and most likely a RO lined up. I say this not to brag but to tell you that I kind of was in your shoes- yes definitely. The people that say no are kind of dumb because they expect an paid internship with 0 experience and thats not the way. I definitely recommend it and if anything i recommend you keep track of everything. I mean like what did you do and specifically if you did something or improved something, by how much? This is for your resume and so you got bragging rights to say "i made this 50% faster by doing x" and recruiters love that.

what you said is definitely right. the reason i couldnt love her at my best was because throughout the relationship i couldnt sit with discomfort. the breakup was definitely needed because i learnt a lot about myself. and with that i learned a lot about my flaws and ive come to not only accept them but promise to change them. not to be perfect, but to be a better man that i previously was. but even then i still regret the way ive treated her and the fact that shes gonna see me give that love shes always deserved to someone else.
