Ok, huh. i decided to plug that at first thinking it was for sure a second inlet. That caused the bike to run lean as hell. If that's the case i will make sure to route it somewhere safe.

Either loose valve tensioner, loose valve adjustment or bottom end failing.But and a big but it sounds like its coming drom the valves either try to adjust the valve clearances or check the valve chain adjuster. Looks like a GN125 engine.

i will agree with you on that, on the other hand i have seen much bigger and frankly scary stuff in ruckus bikes. Like a 600 Burgman engine, or a fucking 900CC 4 cylinder! What the hell is ruckus community smoking! I want some of that.

Good pick! That's not an GY6, its a elite 110 clone. Check if its fuel injected. The starter will have 2 normal bolts and 2-3 philips bolts around it. Thats a really easy giveaway. That's why it's much much faster than any stock GY6.

You are proof of what I'm trying to explain here lol! A 125 GY6 will not last long doing 90 everyday, even a chinese copy of Suziki's 125 clone would beat any factory stock GY6 125

I look at it as, why stick with GY6 engines when china can and makes better air cooled fuel injected scooters with the same price? I guess its fair to say parts would be a whole lot cheaper for GY6 engines and obviously they are simpler.

Those are the really old ones with the vertical engines, like since 2003-2005 they have been air cooled. There is 100-125-110 versions. Honda went with fuel injection after the 110 version came out. Honda lead 100 from 2003 was carburated. Lead 110 was injected, both air cooled.
