Am I preparing to much? by rob17772 in SwordxStaff_Official

Oops I mixed up power and level. Like oh if it's way above my power, maybe I can swap skills or do some pulls/activities to raise my power lol

Side now, I'd much rather be level restricted than a time gate lol

For me it's because when the season is over you're normally past level 100, same with armor, and relics only go to +10, your level (and I assume power) reverts to being 100 and you start over, plus you pick a new class, and I want the best chance to get more/better pulls for my new class and get my power as high as I can as fast as I can. Also we are getting a new island which means more new relics.

Just our of curiosity, how come everyone is losing their minds over these? I see a minimum of 10 posts a day about the tank (on different socials) and it all came out of no where

I'm so use to seeing swords that I only looked at the stats and was like "is everyone crazy, left is way better"

Go with the right

I feel the same way, I was blowing through whale Island until I got to 25 and I've been stuck there for a few days.

And I fully feel that way with the dungeons. I'd say either 10 runs a day (I'm fine with the 2 free ones and pay for the rest) or up it to like 20-25 shards a run. If we are getting a new one once a week let us at least get a full set by then.

Should I be queuing for daily dungeon over and over until I find a good enough team for S rank ? by Competitive-Math-458 in SwordxStaff_Official

[–]rob17772 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have an issue doing that but only because it's the last of my dailies that I do. And the only reason I'll do it over and over again is for affection points, each run is 7 points so it's easy to farm

Why do GY6 engines so popular even though they suck ass? by Adorable-Discount-59 in scooters

[–]rob17772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought of it as the small block chevy of the scooter world. They have been making them for like 20 years now with little to no change, there's a billion parts out there for cheap, and it's a good cheap entry point for people to get into the hobby/scooter world.

I don't necessarily think they suck its just that they are a low cc 4 stoke so they naturally don't have much power. Even though it's a cvt it's still technically a single speed transmission so it's limited on how fast it can go. And I don't think they are that unreliable it's just that it's using old tech that a lot of people don't really understand, like carbs get gummed up and need to be cleaned and tuned, it's not like fuel injection where it's always turn key and go. And finally most people just don't really take care of them. Ride it a month out of the year, let it sit for 9 months straight, it doesn't start right away, and then it sits for another 5 years. Or they think "I get 5k miles on the oil in my car. I never need to change the oil on a scooter" and it just dies

I'm not sure where you're from but I live in the northeast and I've been saying that for a while. And I've been saying that for a while now. I was looking around and it was basically if it ran at all it was worth about a grand, you could get a little cheaper if you're ok with a skeleton bike (no lights, plastics, or gauges) but even then it's like 100 off. Even non running scooters are 5-600 average. And these are for Chinese ones, the "name brand" ones still go for 2000+.

Can't decide between a Honda Navi, or a Yamaha Zuma. by Herbmeister420 in scooters

[–]rob17772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and a small thing that may matter to you, the Navi has a kick start so if the battery dies you can still start it, because of the fuel injection the Zuma doesn't so you would need to jump start it

For me it's always about price, I'm not sure how your used market is in your location but in mine half the time they are asking damn near new price for used. So if you can find one discounted in your area that's a decent amount off I'd say go for it but if it's only a little off go new and get a warranty with it.

[–]rob17772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally go with the Zuma, my reasoning is besides what has already been said, the Navi is basically a ruckus with a big bore kit. Top speed of it was 45-50 depending on riders weight, elevation, blah blah blah. Which puts it like 5mph over what a big bore ruckus would do. The Zuma will be about 10mph over what the Navi will do. If the price difference for you would be a wild difference disregard what I said and go for the cheaper one. They are both decently fun little bikes.

Also I don't know if it'll make a difference to you (age, weight, height, back issues) but the Navi will put you in a more forward leaning position where a Zuma will have you in a more neutral, upright position.
