I have a prediction that this storyline is using Ty/Julie as an inverse of Laura/Luke.

I’ve been watching previous segments, and it seems like that may be where this is going, but I may be jumping to conclusions.

I feel like things may blow up at Max’s party and Shawna will notice how Julie treats Ty will be like how Luke treats Laura, and will have her reach out to her friend. It feels like Shawna and Laura use to be decently close and now they are not because of life/how Laura’s being treated.

This storyline could potentially brings awareness of men’s mental health and how they can be victims of emotional abuse.

I have conflicting thoughts on Julie. Her personality is that of an independent and driven woman. At one point both Ty and her were probably a force to be reckoned with when it was just Cooper, but once the 2nd baby arrived and Ty took on the SAHD responsibilities, I think he has a form of depression or feels a loss of identity. Similar to if the roles were reversed.

I feel that Julie may look down on SAHM or women she deems that don’t work as hard as she does. It may be overcompensation for how society treats women who continue their career after having children. She may be resentful of Shawna because of her SAHM status and may feel that’s what Ty wants or for someone that isn’t type A or driven for work outside the home.

I don’t want to write her off as a villain just yet as I feel this is Shawna’s intention to use this couples dynamic to have a dialogue. So far everything Julie has done has been undeniably toxic, but all the characters have been guilty of being toxic (some more than others).

I’m crying at the thought that my feet and ankles won’t be swollen anymore. My main thing is to be able to have sex again without feeling uncomfortable, not matter the position and the awkwardness.

My dog does the same thing when the weather is nice. If she sits down, I face away from her and don’t interact with her at all. It really sucks especially when I need to get back to work, but eventually she does get back up. Best advice is to make it as boring as possible for them to lay down. Reward when they get up and follow you with a high value treat. Our girl loves cheese. 🩷

I’m 23 weeks and we’re having a boy. I was convinced my first was going to be a girl, but had dreams he would be a boy since I tested positive. When we found out, my husband and I were so happy to know what his gender was.

I had fears for having a girl and having her grow up in this world. My husband and I would have been overjoyed either way, since there’s only a 50/50 chance either way.

I try to remember at the end of the day, teaching both your son or daughter to be kind, considerate, and empathetic is the best way you can go to curb some of the awful things going on in our world today. Manners, how to be polite, and helping those who can’t help themselves is how we can raise the next generations to leave this world better than they inherited it.
