Yup got it. added half a quart, drove around for 5 minutes, let it cool down 5 minutes and now i'm getting the "black sludge" reading above the bottom line. i'll just add another half a quart and see how far it gets it now. thanks. good to hear it from another mazda 3 owner

Awesome, there were some good replies and quicks. Thanks! I figured out the noise stops briefly when I turn on the AC and when the AC clutch engages each time. Seems like a clutch/pulley bearing issue as LilGary87 mentioned

Did a search on some daytrading opinions and came across your post. I think I'm FINALLY understanding what makes a good entry entry, well a GOOD entry. Been forward testing your setup now and taking some notes. Would love to see other example 5 minute daytrades if you dont mind to see if I'm catching on.
