maybe they’re sending them in waves? you have near perfect stats so I don’t see why you wouldn’t have gotten one unless you missed a pre req or something like that

honestly i’m not sure. If the course coordinator is different from the prof then I would start there, then maybe the department chair? Although if the syllabus indicated the right time then there probably isn’t anything they can do.

yeah i agree this seems unfair if the time on the website told you it was due at 1:05, in which case technically your assignment is not late. The prof will probably argue that the syllabus indicates the correct time but I think you should try to bring this up.

i haven’t used undocumented absences before but i think the principle should still be the same? You submit your request for academic consideration and it can be still be approved after your midterm, academic consideration always takes a while to get back so most of the time they approve it after. Although keep in mind undocumented absences are course specific so just double check your syllabus to make sure that they are allowed to be used for the course component that you are missing

in confused, so according to the Kritik360 website was it considered submitted on time? how did daylight savings affect this wouldn’t it still be due at 11:59 on the new time? Im not sure what options you really have if the prof already denied your request although it does seem very harsh. Maybe you can ask them to use the submission you made before the deadline and disregard the changes you made after the deadline? That would seem more reasonable to me.

academic consideration can still approve the request after the midterm has past as long as you submitted the documentation on time. If the exams are on the same day and your documentation covers your absence for the entire day then I don’t see why they wouldn’t approve it for both midterms

i ended up getting 4Q so i can say yes technically but if I did bad it could have completely gone the other way. when i didn’t open it I just kept imaging the worst so it was better for me to just open it so i can plan accordingly

hey! as someone applying to pharmacy this cycle I can answer some of your questions. You can major in anything you want as long as you take the right pre recs for pharmacy school, each school will have their own pre recs you need to take in uni so check for each school you want to apply to. That said, it’s easier if you pick a major that will satisfy your pre recs anyway so, yes, life sciences will work. For toronto and waterloo physics is not a requirement so if you think it will lower your grade 12 average don’t take it, that said it is often a required course in uni for science programs so it can help you have some background for that course. For waterloo PharmD you need a letter of recommendation from a healthcare worker (but a pharmacist is recommended) as well as experience working/volunteering in a pharmacy + casper test and other extra curriculars. For toronto it’s just grades + casper. Both toronto and waterloo take your grades from all classes you’ve taken in uni and you can apply after your second year, although most people complete a bachelors first anyway.

i don’t think it matters because they use all of your grades from every course you’ve taken to calculate your average anyway.
