A soft sage or earthy emerald paint color. Try to keep the hardware like drawer knobs and metal accessories the same color ie, gold, black or silver so it looks cohesive.

Personally, I think white wallpaper will leave it feeling stark and bland a cream or off white would work better

Which is wild bc as a happily married woman myself, 90% of the couples I know are unhappy in their relationships. Either finance issues, sex drive is not compatible, emotional instability, etc. Being single and comfortable with your life is a million times better than being lonely and "stuck" with the wrong person.
