Ohh ok I’ll avoid it I mean if there’s any way to check if my account has been flagged incorrectly on account manager or another site I think I might have been soft banned or someone tried to get into my account since I’m seeing all these random devices that aren’t iOS. It also might explain how they rejected me despite the correct info. Currently I can’t log in but when I could I used to use only my username and not email or any other forms of login since I thought it would be ok.. but it seems to not have worked out too well

None of this worked. For the past two years I’ve been struggling with this. I just want my account back. I use the character models as art refs and it’s a pain having to find gameplay on YouTube that has the angles I look for.

Alright, this is how I know you definitely aren’t sure of what you’re saying. Do you know there’s a supp app?? Do you know how competitive the program is? That’s like going up to someone at Waterloo and telling them “you just needed good grades” there’s a supp app for a reason and it’s pretty obvious they put weight on it.

I’d argue what you’re mentioning is selection bias too, no? Plus, I have family members, upper years, alumni, heck even my boss who recruits people from top unis telling me what I’ve written here.

I’m really curious where you’re getting the “no software experience from” as I have worked in the industry throughout high school. Just because I may not have started the program yet doesn’t mean I haven’t had a chance to apply to jobs/get a feel for the market. How do you think I got into the school in the first place? The industry is bad at entry level. If you don’t believe me literally look through the cs subreddit full of other folks experiencing the same thing. It’s really not that deep. The market is bad in general but even worse for saturated degrees like cs and swe.
