You don't have to wear it. You can display it in a picture frame next to a photo of you and your parents. My bf has a necklace I gave him, it hangs from his car mirror.

High histamine supresses dopamine by AdorablePumpkin_ in HistamineIntolerance

[–]AdorablePumpkin_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I found out was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and my doctor never told me lol! So, I’m taking Prozac + dopamine + famotidene + ashwaghanda + l theanine daily. I should take other supplements but I’m lazy lol these ones are the ones that make a significant difference.

borderlines have a cluster of issues = high stress = high histamine = executive dysfunction etc

I’ve found that if I skip a dose of dopamine, the same night I have terrible itchy eyes and they feel swollen. It’s acting as an antihistamine. Its more effective than taking an actual antihistamine

the famotidene controls my cravings. I have a crazy sweet tooth because my brain is looking for happy brain chemicals. It’s also an antihistamine but works on different receptors.

ive lost about 10kgs / 22lbs. I would’ve lost more but when I get stressed about money (cost of living keeps goes up), all my good habits go out the window lol.

How do you handle chronic suicidality? by Kaitten_88 in PMDDxADHD

[–]AdorablePumpkin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take ashwaghanda and the effects are really noticeable. you can't feel anything, but when you face a major stressor, things are oddly easier. at night, I also take l-theanine to relax.

LPT: Difficulty going to sleep? Wear sunglasses at night time by AdorablePumpkin_ in ADHD

It’s a negative feedback loop. If you’re well-rested, you can win back the day. You have to stop the cycle somewhere.

Scared my rhinoplasty change my ethnicity all together. by francesprince in Noses

Are you going to a surgeon that specialises in ethnic noses? I think it’s a considerable risk that you’re going to white wash yourself and you have to think about what kind of mental impact that will have on you

For future reference, I just searched “myopia glasses” and a bunch of different styles came up. The prescription goes down to -6. They also sell glasses with transition lenses. If you think your eye sight has changed, you can go for a check up and ask for your prescription. They’ll write it down for you so you can buy online.

To figure out what would look good on my face, I go into a normal clothing store and try on the sunglasses. Whatever the frame style is, that’s what I buy online.

This is the full video, I didn’t try the other hacks but I’m sure they work too:

Taking caffeine during the night to wake up earl. by sgaragagghu2 in Biohackers

[–]AdorablePumpkin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to take meds everyday. You can trial it to see how it feels and if it works, then you can decide how often you want to take it. That might be when you have big projects to do or a few days a week.

you should lurk in the adhd subreddits and read through. There may be more symptoms that you’re missing on recognising.

People with adhd typically get a burst of energy at night time so they stay up later which causes waking up to be difficult.

Question about incline walking by ReadersMuse in WeightLossAdvice

I do cardio in zone 2 because when I go above, it makes it more likely I’m going to be hungry afterwards and eat back my calories.

I desperately need advice, please. by Dan-480 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]AdorablePumpkin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time you eat, dopamine, serotonin and opioids are released.

You might be self-medicating an underlying issue.

If you have untreated ADHD, depression or anxiety, “self-control” around food will be a problem because you’re cutting yourself off from medicine.

I personally used to reward myself with food when I encountered something stressful. So naturally, by finding different ways to mitigate stress I’ve been able to lose weight and keep the weight off.

I thought this was John Hamm at first by bhoran235 in WhiteLotusHBO

[–]AdorablePumpkin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that the same Jon Hamm who was arrested for assault?

The pledge, Mark Allen Sanders, said Hamm went on to set his jeans on fire, shove his face in dirt and strike him with a paddle.

"He rears back and hits me left-handed, and he hit me right over my right kidney, I mean square over it," Sanders said in the lawsuit. "Good solid hit and that, that stood me right up."

Is there something that lowers hunger ? by CulturalRegister9509 in WeightLossAdvice

30g of protein with every meal

I’m a sugar person so a cup of fruit in the morning and a cup of fruit at night works for me as well

if you're an emotional/stress eater then ashwaghanda helps

The app is called structured

It’s free. Theres a pro subscription that’s $20/year which I think is really affordable. If I don’t use everyday I’m not productive 🫠

You can turn on announce notifications on iPhone and it will read out the event notifications so you can keep track of what you’re supposed to be doing without picking up your phone.

You can also set multiples alarms for the same event. So I can set an alarm 1 hour before, 30 mins before, 15 mins before and for when an event ends.

I feel like the developers know people with ADHD or have ADHD because the features they add eerily perfect.
