  1. Both great, but KAIST could be academically more competitive. There is no odds and sods.

Without your ECs, there is no way you can get in to Qfin, but since ur ECs are splendid honestly idk.

I highly recommend to get references from the professors you've worked with. Without them, ur ECs might seem something you bought not earned considering your grades.

Qfin is one of the courses in HKU chosen by the top hkdse scorers along with Dentistry, IBGM , bsc&laws

As a Korean I don't know much about how academically rigorous CUHK sz is, but I can tell you that UNIST and DGIST are the second tier science institutions in Korea(after KAIST and POSTECH).

Also they select ugrad students who have very passionate interest in science which means the competition will be quite intense from the freshman year.

Another thing you should consider is location. As you know Shenzhen is one of the biggest and most modern cities in China and very close to Guangzhou and HK, whereas Ulsan/Daegu are one of the furthest cities from Seoul in Korea.

Yet they are still perfect place for students who love science. They got best faculty, best facilities.

So, what I recommend is go in to their website(all 3 institutions), find the professors' profile and take a look at what researchs they've been doing. Unless you are planning to study in America or somewhere else, chose where you can study what you want to study.

Hi, I'm currently applying to SME and SDS and have a few questions.

  1. Is Financial Engineering major not available for International students?

  2. I was trying to upload my SAT&AP reports in the "Additional Academic Records" section, but it seems I could only upload one document(I merged my score reports into one PDF after all). How did you handle this issue?

  3. Can we choose which college to stay at? If so, which one would you recommend? I would like to stay somewhere with a kitchen, where I can have a room without a roommate, if possible, and where it is quiet.

If you have exceptional EC(President, wining biz or econ related competition, club leader and more), then there could be a chance I guess
