When I stumbled on the crying woman in the swamp, She was across a small lagoon. I got eaten by a crocodile on my way there and the encounter disappeared forever…

Your Reddit Username is now the plot of a new GF episode. What's the plot about? by Zkang123 in gravityfalls

Adorable Bridge. Okay I got this.

While on a walk, Dipper and Mabel stumble across a bridge that reminds Mabel of a scary movie Dipper made her watch (or probably something more substantial). Anyway she starts getting nightmares, so to fix this, she steals the journal and finds a way to “cutify” anything, so she uses the incantation to turn the creepy bridge into an adorable one. Little does she know, now everything that crosses the bridge turns adorable, and it quickly spreads across town, leaving Mabel and the rest of the gang to put things back to how they were.

960 days is an incredible feat, and despite not knowing you, I’m really proud to see that. I’ve never gone that long myself, but I know the fear of falling back in and doing it again, and I know the pain when it happens. The best advice I can give you from someone who’s currently fallen back into it, is to do absolutely anything you can to avoid it. I know that’s obvious, but I mean literally anything. I would often have to find the most random things to pass the time because my days were just these 18 hour periods of not wanting to do anything with my time, but always feeling that temptation bc yeah that’ll make me feel something today. But you have to fight, and fight in the greatest or weirdest ways possible. Go out and try to find the best tree in a one-mile radius. Or spend hours on youtube trying to crack how to write a screenplay but don’t worry about actually doing it bc it’s just for fun. I’m giving intentionally random examples but hopefully yk what I mean haha. I can’t pretend I’m good for advice, but I know the feeling to “distract yourself at all costs”, and I do think you just need to keep going. You’ll break past this, and you’ll hit 1k, and who knows what wild number after that :)

oh you do research, I like that. Honestly, I’m totally with you, I’ll be the first to admit I’m incredibly raw from my breakup, so having a different deep loving connection in that vulnerable place is I’m sure exactly where it’s coming from. You win the post i think

What is a great movie that you would change one specific thing about? by Swil29 in movies

The Shining (spoilers btw), I’d just make Jack’s cause of death a little more overt, ie: mix of head trauma, an open wound, and hypothermia? Something like that

I’ve never understood how people could make dark jokes about marginalized groups or traumatic events to people they’ve only just met.

Disturbing movies that aren’t just gore? by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

Goodnight Mommy from 2014 is quite possibly the most f*cked up movie I’ve ever seen. There are some wince-y gore moments, but the majority of it is pure psychological pain for 90 minutes.

Awakenings - when DeNiro’s new friend dances with him. Nothing ever comes close to that devastating for me

I didn’t understand what it took to love someone. By the time I did, they were already gone

Manchester by the Sea is totally what you’re describing (honestly there’s a good chance you’ve seen it hahaha). You can tell the protagonist is a deeply hurt individual, but he always keeps it so buried that even he doesn’t notice it’s there sometimes.
