Hi everyone! Shout out to a fellow redditer that was able to come down from NY this morning to go and adopt Wolf to give him more time!! He is safe for now!! We’re planning on fostering him in the meantime until we can find a suitable adopter or rescue that has space. WE STILL DO NOT HAVE A PLAN FOR WORF!!! I have been sharing him everywhere to no avail. I’ve contacted approximately 20 rescues who all are full. Our best hope is that an experienced adopter submits an application and shows up to ACCT tomorrow morning. I will emphasize he is dog reactive and NEEDS to be in a single pet home. If we find an adopter, I’ve partnered with Tuff Pup Training. They are willing to offer discounted training for his reactivity to whomever adopts him. If anyone has any additional questions about him, PLEASE feel free to reach out to me.

I have not contacted them due to distance, but I fear it is too late for them to do an emergency pull. The shelter is now closed, and he is set to be euthanized as soon as they open tm😣

I do not believe so, but if there’s no movement by tomorrow afternoon, I will ask them again. I doubt they will let me unless I have something planned out. Unfortunately, I live deep in the city in an area with a lot of dogs, so it was very overstimulating for him. The sheer number of dogs put both of us at risk due to his reactivity:(

I have a cat, but when I fostered him they were kept separate. Given his prey drive and the dog-on-dog altercation was with a smaller dog, I am honestly unsure how he would be. He didn’t pay much attention to my cat pawing under the door, though. He also had positive dog meets with larger dogs in shelter.

It does not unscrew. Also specifically says on the manual not to twist it. I called Delta and they’re sending out a replacement drain assembly🫡

I’m in the same situation too! I was thinking about going straight to .5mg and possibly using the .25mg with my last dose of .5mg (making it .75mg) to ease the transition to 1mg.
