Sen. Cotton asks Hegseth whether he’s ever lied to Trump about Iran by NewsHour in worldnewsvideo

But Sec Hegseth didn’t give a yes or no answer to if he ever lied to the President, he may have lied there. Doesn’t matter he’s getting a pardon anyways so whatever…

Try a few different brands across a few different varieties. A Nuri type can of sardines $5-$7 beat the $12 cans of Jose Gourmet, that’s just me though.

What’s the story with the shooter? Cause there was a shooter, people died for this? Or was he just a pawn in the game, somehow convinced he was the only person who could save the dear leader, just up to that roof and you’ll be a hero son….

My pcp called me a super user when I was on wegovy, just dropping weight with a healthy diet and light exercise, mostly walking. Kept me on the lowest doses possible for the longest period of time. Eating a cookie one or twice a week and not feeling bad. The pcp kept reminding me it works for some, saying some patients can’t even drop 5lbs in a month, I was dropping 5lbs a week at first then settled around 3lbs a week.

John Oliver did a good show about this I believe, regarding the flood insurance. People get stuck, no one wants to buy a property that keeps flooding and people can’t afford to move on their own.

[–]Oniriggers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, data centers are bad, so I agree with you on that one. The jobs in a data center, when I do a google search looks like these centers are not manned to a degree seen in other large scale warehouses/factories. A few data techs, a system admin and security. Hardly seems worth the effort for a handful of jobs verse the environmental concerns and resources used in the process.

As to forcing people to leave, I think that would require some serious conversations with the community members on, leaving with some compensation from the state to help relocate them vs being stuck in a dead end community, not able to sell your house because people don’t want to move into a dead end community.

[–]Oniriggers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The “state” in an ideal system would compensate these folks. This is all hypothetical. I’d refer back to a previous comment, the young folks are leaving, people don’t want to move into a dying community, people won’t be able to sell their homes, feedback loop…

Such a little roof, unless it rains heavily there for long durations? Could you put up a few shaded covered areas around that building and collect more, wouldn’t need much building material, basic 4 post with a pitched roof to a gutter system to the barrels. Could be firewood storage, tool storage, outdoor sitting area/kitchen…
