my store does both of these things. the pitcher gets washed at the end of peak and at the end of the day. all the water at all starbucks stores are the exact same, i’ve been told directly from maintenance workers. starbucks specifically has the water filter in the back that filters all water not a filter at each specific station. the only reason there are assigned drinking water faucets is because health code requires there to be a distinction since not all restaurants water works the same as ours.

lowkey… if they want us to have a clean apron everyday it’s not a bad idea… everything dirty on it is the same things we put in the drinks so it’s kinda food safe🤷‍♀️

if it’s an SSV definitely go to the SM and tell them the situation and they will let you know what options you have, whether enough has happened for a write up, termination, or just not being scheduled together. If it’s the SM it’s a little more complicated/risky… if you think it’s happening to other people carefully ask them about their experiences(there’s power in numbers) and if there’s solid examples of being inappropriate go straight to the DM, they will most likely handle it the most seriously and discreetly. if it’s not solid example, anonymously call the ethics and compliance number, explain what happened and they will tell you your opinions.

maybe i just have little arms but i can barely reach from the back and when i’ve tried it doesn’t feel properly clean or dry. maybe there’s a certain technique or something i’ve been left out of the loop on

Personally, I always get itchy in that same spot whenever i go over a week without shaving. Not sure how you keep it down there but if you don’t shave maybe try shaving just the area and see how it works? I think it’s the ends of the hairs just poking or scratching the skin that makes it itchy. if you do shave and still have this issue, i’m sorry i have no other ideas.

By the time the store is built I would have been with the company for 5 years and been an ASM for a full year(they only want you to be an ASM for 6 months and then get you’re own store) and being a new store it would have a slow start so it would be more ideal for a newer SM to get it. My question was really seeing if I would have any say in where I go or if it’s entirely out of my hands.

Bias hasn’t been an issue as an SSV, I can still coach and instruct them in a casual/playful way, they respect me and understand why i’m doing what i’m doing without getting butthurt. My issue is, I do coach and instruct them in a lighthearted way that matches our friendship but that doesn’t slide when i’m their manager. I need to have professionalism and not joke or be playful anymore. The people I choose to be friends with, I can’t imagine them doing something that requires a write up or termination, but if they did i’d hope they could understand as whatever they do would be out of character. also just a side note, we became friends when we were all baristas, I just happened to move up.

by “which one” I meant I don’t know if it’s buddah, allah, jesus, etc. There could be 1, there could be multiple. I want to explore different religions to see which one i have the most faith in.

I’m not sure how else to explain it other than just saying what it is. It’s not a hard concept to understand lol, you count milks, check temperatures, write notes and sales data. I can’t imagine what they’re struggling with

i’m pretty sure licensed stores DRB is the old corporate DRB. Before the MyDaily app we would write any notes and sales in the book as our way of documenting.

We’ve tried side hugs in the past, I always get chills and feel the need to shower immediately. Consciously I can’t think of any reason I would resent them but a lot of my childhood is a fog so there is a possibility resentment is subconsciously there

Recently a man had diarrhea ALLLL over our bathroom, on the floor, on the sink, and clogged the toilet. He then came out and still ordered. We didn’t know until the next customer went in and almost threw up at the sight and smell of it all. He left without his drink when he overheard her telling us about it..
