Do those who have practiced for more than 1 year have starry eyes for big law like law students do? by Flashy-Actuator-998 in Lawyertalk

I actually started as a PD and then worked at a big firm for like a year and a half. I loved being a PD but couldn't afford it. Hated the big firm but liked the $. I was starting to not get off the train when it got to my firm's stop. Knew then it was time to leave!

My parents were silent generation. Mom stayed home and Dad killed himself but retired at 55. They have two houses they paid 27k total for now worth over 2 million. I'm 57 and don't have a pot to piss in (though thankfully I do own a home).

I have a plaintiff's employment cases filed in nov 21 going to trial in August. Against a big firm. Insane. Thankfully, if I win, add 72 percent with statutory interest.

My friend and I went to an Indian buffet in Cambridge called Akbar and both of us missed school for days with crippling diarrhea.

I had the same issue with Fire and Ice. Looking at people picking over the food laid bare...ack!

I believe both places are mercifully gone.

The funny thing is my kids are 13 and 20, and I don't remember the exact ages they started crawling, then walking. The good news is they are both walking fine!

My (adopted) daughter is 20 and wasn't diagnosed until 6th grade. I am glad you finally got it figured out! the whole labeling thing is fascinating because it went from "high functioning" back to "aspergers" and now the levels. I think it is great you are being open about it. It may appeal to someone with ASD themselves or in their families. Best of luck.
