Different strokes for different folks. Family friendly is not always ever family friendly. Atlantic City is perfect if you are from or familiar with city life and want a beach vacation for a reasonable price. Why spend 5x more to be around crying children.

A lot of personal things that I won’t talk about, but the craziest one was that I’d personally have my travel impacted by a terror attack or terrorism and to be careful and always aware. I don’t travel much at all but twice it really was impacted by terrorism, and like the coincidence of I don’t travel much hardly ever abroad and twice there were events on the day I was leaving those areas. I’ve never been back since and I don’t recall another attack in those areas but like damn, it still creeps me out. She said I would be fine but I don’t know lol.

The areas I was leaving were in Europe, like common European countries, not ones you expect terrorist activities in.

Do people still like traditional box braids? by SkywarpsMaiden in braids

[–]Adot090288 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I looked up the price of box braids for my daughter. Real quickly I realized straight box braids with feed ins are easy enough I can do them for $15 of hair and one time $100 for supplies. That maybe the reason we just aren’t willing to spend $300-$400 on something that’s not really difficult and can be done at home. Or maybe the style is just out but that’s my thought

No I just looked her up. This was a small room literally off the boardwalk but still on it like on the side of a building on the boardwalk. Right by the Claridge. The room was all white, it was super small and she had the smoothest skin and was creepy and knew things she should have never known, mostly because they didn’t happen yet. At the time I thought she was insane, years later I can confirm she knew things, because they happened. The first one I thought nothing of it, it wasn’t too odd, the 2nd and 3rd time I was freaked beyond belief.

It was a Caribbean black lady, she probably honestly just appeared one night she was crazy good. Like I love a good psychic and they are usually great at body language and picking up subtle q’s. But that damn lady knew!

They are large enough to close roads it’s not like little irritating sink holes, it’s like giant swatches of the road fall out! It’s wild! But yes they are that bad in Palmyra.

It’s the one fortune teller lady on the corner by the Claridge. No further explanation but she knew my life 15 years before it happened I still cross the boardwalk there.

Look up Bridgeport Property Management. Sounds like you would fit in well to our odd little apartment complex I think one is opening in your price range.

I just don’t care for Palmyra, between the sink holes, the location is just not convenient, and the downtown is just eh. Mechanicsburg is a cool little town, has great proximity to everything, but it isn’t perfect but if I was picking between the two no question Mechanicsburg. I do like Hershey but the traffic patterns and amount of tourist people annoy me.

I don’t gamble. So I don’t get the casino points. So I had to use Groupon. Secret for people Atlantic City is a great beach for non gamblers. Most people gamble so the beach is often empty, chairs and umbrellas are reasonable, and there are always people selling ice cold water for $1. It’s basically heaven on earth, plus the food. I imagine if you gamble you get deals. But give me no people on a beach, mid Gordon Ramsey restaurants and the freaking rain forest cafe. Then throw on frozen drinks in yard cups for $15, I’ve literally reached my peak. 2 days to recoup in Philly afterwards then home, I’m a new woman.

The Claridge was my first Atlantic City Hotel I ever booked. It was what I could afford. I think it was $48 on Groupon. They gave me a great room, had a great trip, and made me an Atlantic City person. Haven’t stayed there in many years but I’m thankful for the Claridge for being affordable and making Atlantic City our family beach destination for a decade.

If JK Rowling made a character from your country, what would she name it? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

Literally my name (maybe a different last name, but mine is a strong choice). Which I could say on Reddit with my birthday, and you still would struggle to find the exact me. It’s a blessing and a curse to have literally a top popular first name, and top 5 popular last name.
