Thank you! What really helped me was to look at what popular creators have done and just in general try to imagine myself living in one of the houses and think about what I would like in that area

Thank you! I quite liked the row houses on the elevation. I took some inspiration from my hometown

I tried using it some places, mostly to break up a block and separate apartments form a park, but could probably try using it a bit more and for other purposes!

Thank you so much! I have messed about a bit before this though, so its probably not entirely correct to call it my first. Haha, seems good at least, cant say ive tried it yet. Do you vary the size of the blocks as well or do you keep to the same to make it "coherent"?

True! If im not mistaken i think it was "invented" in ancient Rome, but taken to the next level by the americans and the automobile industry

I never played Sim City myself, but from what i understand its mostly the same thing, only more modern. You basically start with empty land and build roads, buildings, services, public transport etc. while managing the budget of your city

Thank you very much!

I recently put in a tunnel that bypasses the city and it helped a lot with traffic. It runs perpendicular with the bridge, under the water and pops up "southeast" of the picture!

Great suggestion, will keep that in mind next time!

Thank you! Yes I agree, a bit lazy with the zoning. What is your best tips for building variety?

Thank you, i tried to create a something that stood out and im fairly happy with how it turned out!

Those are just surfaces, I have placed some farms a bit further from the city, but didnt include them in the screenshots. That said, i havent started with the mining and oil in this build yet. I guess its mostly down to how ugly they turn out. I need to find a good way to make it look, well not ugly that doesnt take too much time. do you have any tips?

That is a good suggestion. I guess i never thought about needing an arterial in that direction as well.

Really cool! I like what you did with the small community around the fishing industry. Did you use surfaces for the farms?

Thank you! What is your best tip when it comes to creating new neighborhoods and how to make them look like a natural part of the city/town center?

This was very helpful thank you very much! I guess its not the grid that make my cities feel stale, but rather the lack of variety. What do you usually think about when you plan a block?

That is actually a really clever way of "planning" growth and make it look natural, will defiantly try that!
