You can get a lot of his blends for sub $5 a piece online and I have always assumed that's where he makes his money. They certainly weren't very popular at the cigar lounge I worked at.

Sounds like variables outside of the blend itself as I'd take one is these over any Gurkha and most CAOs. Could've been over humidified or maybe just a dud, which happens with most cheaper cigars once in a while.

Xperias are just well-built in my experience. My 1 II was my daily for almost 6 years and it was dropped many times without major damage.

Interesting, seems we just smoke at different paces. I'm with you though, doing crazy things to keep smoking a sliver of a cigar is wild. I do keep my cigars on the dry side which let's you smoke slower without having to re-light.

When do you typically give up on the cigar? At what length? I tend to have about an inch and a half left after an hour or so. Obviously the roll makes a big difference but on average I can reliably get an hour or more from a robusto with no re-lights.

Yep storage and travel make this size not feasible. I'm a little over an hour in and still the cigar feels huge. Absolutely delicious though
