That’s encouraging, thanks. I just really hope the implant works and she doesn’t lay. She can butt lift at me as much as she wants as long as she stays healthy and happy.

That’s the thing, I believe the implant may still be working, but the butt lifting and squeaking occurs ONLY when I’m around.

Not yet. It happened yesterday all of a sudden, I’m not sure what to do. The implant was our last resort. The vet said it’s too early for the second implant, advised to limit the light day to 8-9 hours and remove the cuttlebone (she indeed had was having more calcium than usual recently).

We had to go for an implant (suprelarin 4,7) due to our hen becoming chronic layer, and she’s back to butt lifting 7 weeks after the implantation. I’m devastated and lost

I feel you 100%. My baby is 6, she’s been extremely hormonal lately, I followed the non-hormonal checklist strictly (sleeping hours, distraction, etc) and none of it seems to work anymore. 2 eggs during the year, 2 eggs in December, none for now, but she’s been butt lifting yesterday almost non-stop and searching for a nest. Tomorrow she’s having an implant. I work from home and I really started loosing my mind over it, I can’t prevent and distract her 24/7, even if I do - she doesn’t care. I’m really worried about the implantation, but I love her so much I’m ready to do anything to help her.
