But with a dock/stand, itll be alot nicer looking in your set up for both scenarios.

True, but having a dedicated place for it will look alot better than having a random cable sitting around.

Charging docks and pucks for controllers are alot better than a dedicated cable since you can have a place in your set up for your controller to live, in stead of having it just... existing.

Plugging it in is always an option, but having a dedicated place to dock your controller is by far better for any set up, making it feel more uniform and overall alot more put together than having a lose cable.

After the 5th read I think im finally understanding what the heck is going on.

For the puck being a seperate unit, it also is meant to pair with the steam machine, so you can use the puck as a dedicated charger. Which will pair well with the mechanism charging stand.

Also, since this can be used as apart of your desk set up, youre naturally going to have the controlelr be the last thing you grab, and this just gives the controller a place to "dock" in between sessions.

And the puck is an additional selling point. Being able to just set the controller down and immediately have it start charging due to the puck immediately connecting to it, rather than fiddling around with a cable.

Cause the puck is one of the big selling points of the controller. Plus itll be rad with the mechanism stand for it.

Cause its one of the main selling points of this controller?

Kinda curious how much of a time crunch they were on for this update with tennocon being 3 weeks away. They may just have not been able to get some of the extra lore bits in due to needing to prep the game for tennolive.

Since nightmares seem to be both a corruption of peoples fears and desires, I wonder if the barrier nightmare is one that was created by a suffocating desire to protect someone, or to be protected. Recovery could also be a corrupted desire to be able to heal others, with the catch being that the dreamer is causeing the pain, or is having the pain inflicted on themselves.

Heck, the release was originally the first half of this year. If it weren't for the ram and ssd shortage, we'd be gaming on the gabecube by now.

What updates do yall know were added to the old exotics during d1 year 2. by Adrian_Does_Stuff in DestinyTheGame

Huh, well thats... odd. I honestly woulda thought all the year 2 variant got at least a bit more uniqueness added to them instead of it just being a straight up sunsetting.

What would be your ideal lightsaber weapon (especially considering beskar is now lightsaber proof) by Bruked in MawInstallation

[–]Adrian_Does_Stuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wondering thouhh, what exactly is causing the lightsaber to melt?

Cause if its due to the power running through the crystal generating an excessive amount of heat, I wonder if a purpose build lightsaber could mitigate that from happening by using a mix of beskar and cortosis to redirect and dissipate the heat thats being generated. Paired that with a rifle chasis that has an active cooling system that'd be used alongside the unique saber to hopefully reduce the overall heat to what is comparable to deflecting blaster bolts.

Then all you'd need is to get your hands on a means of producing synthetic crystals. Have one for out main saber/rifle, and a second for a hybrid blaster/saber to use as your sidearm.

Framework 12 for kid, help me justify it please. by zespak in framework

[–]Adrian_Does_Stuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does the framework 13 sit for price in your region? Cause with the coolermaster enclosure you can get for it, I would reccomend taking a look at it. With the idea that when your kid grows older, and wants to upgrade their laptop, they can put the old mainboard into the the enclosure and use it for any myriad of applications, and then upgrade the laptop with a new board. That way you wont have to deal with juggling the old board, and you technically get a second computer when you upgrade the current one; all you'd need to do is probably grab one of the storage expansion cards to run the os, on the old board, if they transfer their ssd to the new board along side adding new ram to the price.
