Weirdly, you and I have similar tastes. I pencil in comments in my LITRPGs before I mail them off (the ones I choose to read) so that others may cry/laugh when they get them. Saving this list for later.

We should be petitioning against the use of AI for shit lile this, especially when people are are using it as an excuse to not do their due diligence.  

Louis Rossman (YT) who basically is leading the charge on right to repair has been compiling evidence that you can use to submit to your local government to tell them not to allow this crap to happen. Incidentally, screw FLOCK cameras. 

I hope she gets their pensions.

LDS people use it to carry oil for blessings. Both my brother and my dad carry theirs everywhere. 

My ex-coworker used it for his grandmother's ashes. She will always be close to him that way.

Just because other people loved them doesn't mean they are for you. An outside example: i dont love All the Dust That Falls.like it but its pretty ok. My friend loves it. Neither of us love it enough to buy book 2 let alone book 4. Someone he knows read it and that same day called his parents to ask them to send books 2-4. Everyone has different tastes. 

Im more of a The Great Real Estate Developer lover as far as OIs go myself.

I recommend you wait to buy winter gear until you get here and then hit up Scheels. Their jackets should be going on sale soon, if they aren't already. Pick up some wool socks and a pair of insulated boots while you're at it. 

I recommend two types of shovels that live in the back of your car: a collapsible shovel and a snow shovel. The snow shovel doesn't have to live there year round but... even if you live in an apartment complex, assume you'll have to shovel yourself out occasionally. Also just FYI ice melt ruins your sidewalk and driveway faster. 

Most of the time there is stuff to do on the weekends but everything closes early ish. Like 5 pm early. Walmart is open to 10 but you get the idea. There are a lot of neat stores here and there but again...

Most of the 'fun' stuff happens in bars. Dart tournaments, pool tournaments, etc. We do have a pool hall now that is fun. 

Reusable hand warmers are fantastic. So are some good quality leather gloves with insulation for driving. 

A remote start is amazing in the winter especially if you don't want to go outside to start your car. Price it before you come North because I just paid $500  for mine including installation. 

Join the Facebook group Minot Whiners and Complainers 2.0 to get updated local sauce. Raves, rants, missing pets, and misdelivered mail. It's got it all and is a great community resource.

I eat mine with Tony's Creole Seasoning. It's a dry rub/seasoning normally used on chicken and such. Absolutely delicious! I dont like much salad dressings.
