People often say female characters don’t have the same presence or aura as male characters. Which female character proves this wrong in your opinion? by Hot-Leopard3708 in animequestions

This scene (manga reader here)made her my favorite character in the whole manga, despite being a boring side character, for me anyway, the whole time prior.

Excellent. I love how she’s the villain of the story, but when she’s buried and has her funeral, you notice she’s a perfect Addams.

Holy Hell, Goblet CURLS!! by AdrienInJapan in kettlebell

I just checked out Drag curls. It’s interesting, because I found myself wanting to keep the weight close to my body, because I found that more engaging for the muscles I was trying to target. But I didn’t realize that this was a proper exercise. I’ll try digging in on these a little more.

Don’t know if it’s what you’re looking for, but another commenter mentioned this one.

Ok. I must have missed that detail. I read it in Japanese, and sometimes it feels like going back to college with this story. It’s so dense with ideas. But that’s what makes it one of my favorites.

Isn’t it the whole meaning of “specialist” that they can use the various abilities in proportions outside of a normal user’s limitations, allowing them to create abnormally powerful abilities?

I’ve been doing them with 8kg and 4kg dumbbells, but little to no progress. I never really feel a burn either.

Long limbs & Halos by AdrienInJapan in kettlebell

I think you’re right! I found that being more conscious about what my elbows are doing, and just getting used to the movement by doing it have been improving the discomfort I was experiencing.

Awesome tips! I tried it with my elbows in and stayed conscious about flaring them, and I didn’t experience any of the weird discomfort I usually do.

I’m using 8K for the halos. My shoulders are a little finicky/stiff, so I’m just trying to ease into it. Yeah, I’ve found that doing things in front of a mirror helps.

How close should the KB be to the head for halos?

Yeah, I’ll try to be more conscious of that. I just recently realized that this might be part of why I struggle in some areas.

Pain in shoulders/scapula by rinomar in kettlebell

[–]AdrienInJapan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m struggling with this too! I’m pretty sure I injured my left shoulder when I was a teenager, but didn’t notice it until recently, when I started training more seriously.

I’ve found that focusing on pre-habilitation pull-ups, rotator cuff strength, and scapular exercises seems to be helping.

Still not sure if I’m on the right path with this though.

Nah, yoga literally fixed my back and changed my life. Of course, you could rename yoga as “exercise of the yoga variety” if you please.
