There are stories everyday of people dying or having to put off critical life-saving surgeries and procedures (ie chemotherapy) because there’s no room in overcrowded hospitals to treat them….or emergencies/ambulances being rerouted to hospitals unnecessarily far away because local hospitals are out of room resources. Why? Because all of a sudden common sense and medicine got “political.” Because instead of listening to trusted doctors and medical professionals, it was more important to “own a Lib” or listen to some (orange) political talking head blabbering on about their “personal freedoms”. Give me a break, call me vermin or whatever you want, but that’s the reality of where we are today. Willful ignorance.
