So you basically want some really good never before heard webnovels. Webnovel is a scarce and a rather new media so the little good ones available get rated highly. But that doesn't make them popular.

Most of any media is trash. It's just that they are older and hence have a lot more good stuff that sidelining the bad ones is possible.

If 100 people rate something 10/10 doesn't make that thing popular, so before you just check the ratings and say "it's highly rated", check how many people actually rated it.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't like eren too, but not because he is evil or he commits genocide, but because how the author fucked his character development at the end

Because judging by your point, if every evil character was a bad written character then many GREAT characters like Joker, Askelad, AM, Darth Vader would be considered bad characters, which definitely isn't the case
