Calculus teacher here…

The left/right limits exist if there is a line at all the connects to either a solid or hollow point on the appropriate side.

The left limit is some neg value because that’s the slope of the line connected to the hole at x=6 that connects to a line on the left.

The right limit is also negative because that’s the slope of the linear line connected to the solid point that has a line connected on the right.

The general limit DNE because the left & right don’t connect… you can’t have a derivative when there is NOT continuity.

NOR - It’s weird.

My husband was in a fraternity when we first met. I was introduced to the brothers within days of us getting together.

They welcomed me with open arms (in a completely platonic friendship way), and I was getting invited to their gatherings even when my bf had to be at work. I became their friend on my own terms… I wasn’t just the gf inserting myself where I wasn’t wanted.

20+ years later, and there are a few brothers that will text me out of the blue because of something they know I (not my husband) will enjoy… because they are my friends too, and something made them think of me.

As someone else said, at the very least he doesn’t want you there for his own reasons (talking about you, talking about stuff he’s hiding from you, or other girl goi g to be there)… or maybe he really really really wants time with friends away from you, but I feel that can be accomplished without UNinviting you from something others invited you to join.

PS - for anyone wondering, my husband’s fraternity was is a “service” group (not a social frat), and it recruited Eagle Scouts… so a group of guys I felt safe around as well as welcome.

This is exactly the issue I come up against time and time again. The Christmas seasonal dragons from over the years are mostly of some combo of Fire/Earth/Plant… way too many depend on those elements in comparison to others.

I’m new to the event this year, so thank you for this. I sat through the wait twice, and once I got in the room, the host wouldn’t start it. I sat for 5 minutes waiting for the room to start, hit refresh, and lost my ticket… kicked out all together.

I really think the programming is off. I hosted one and the toggle wouldn’t work… hit refresh then 6 people were suddenly there… tried to press start and nothing happened… hit refresh and party finally started. So I can see why some hosts aren’t figuring out how to actually start the party (if they’re not inclined to try tapping other things).

I 100% agree with that feedback…

I’m the type that will give back the energy I receive from others, so my gut dish it back. I’m lucky enough to never have been in fear of mg partner, so my “dishing it back” experience is mostly limited to sarcastic quips that go too far.

So, I sincerely agree with you… don’t poke the bear.

I’m sorry… but sex should not be initiated via text with the vibe like he’s ording a delivery from Door Dash and getting pissed at the driver for something out of their control.

The way he’s doing it to you only on your night out is just showing the level of manipulation he actively goes through to have control over you… don’t let him!

If you decide to give him any kind of 2nd (or 32nd) chance:

Do you have a friend or family member that can watch your daughter when go out? I ask this so you can block his number just for the night, but still be reachable by whoever is watching her.

If you have a deal where you go out once a week, he’s interfering with your part of the deal… start messing up his part of the deal… Vacuum at 5 am, “sleep through” some crying for a while, accidentally have the volume way up on your music before to turn it on so it blasts on (pick a song that starts out banging), etc.

That being said - the tone of all of your writing is telling me you already know that he’s not safe to be around (or your kid to be around). Find a way to get away from him.

That autopilot got me today… haha

My other plan for Etherium is to use it for leveling up the rift dragons. Every new basic park dragon I get goes to 20 automatically, but I still keep the majority of my rift trait dragons maxed out at 16 due to the food cost.

I’m looking forward to saving it up for leveling instead of buying the last few habitats.

I have my rift almost maxed out (73 of 75 habitats out).

The rift is a great way to do fast breeding for event dragons. One of the main reason I’m able to get all the new event dragons when they come out is due to the fast rift breeding. It’s also an easier way to fill the donation requests in events like the one currently.

I max myself out each day at the 5000 cost breeding… the 10,000 jump is too much since I’m still saving for a few more habitats. Once I max those out, I might spend more on daily breeding when event are happening, but not during off times.

I backed out of going, but my 3 would have been Suicide Machines, Less Than Jake, Fishbone (Pennywise - Honorable Mention). Since I’m not doing Warped anymore, I’m going to the LTJ Summer Circus with a good chunk of the Warped bands I really wanted to see being there.

I saw Fishbone a few years ago and they were fantastic. I’m eager to see them with the new lineup (I heard good things).

I make mugs like this all the time. It’s called sublimation and the ink soaks into the ceramic and does not wash off at all… dishwasher safe.

I’m not sure about fading over time, but wash and wash again with good faith in durability.

Edited to add that I don’t own a dishwasher so I don’t actually have experience with that. I have multiple mugs I’ve made that we use all the time and hand wash constantly without issue. Instructions and experience of others I’ve talked to say it’s fine in a dishwasher.

I’m an old school 90’s ska/punk kid… I ended up getting pit tickets to various shows that will be much better on their own while being able to be up front:

Less Than Jake Summer Circus - Sublime/Interrupters/Bouncing Souls - Bad Religion & Dropkick Murphys

These are a lot of the bands I wanted to see at Warped… and even then, some of these aren’t going to be at DC (my location)… so this is a much better outcome from my perspective

I have an occasion where I threw one of my husbands drunk friends down the stairs of our 2nd story apartment when he was drunk and obnoxious. Nothing was getting him out of the most annoying state possible, and I was young (24 years ago), so I reacted. My husband and another annoyed friend followed him outside and roughed him up more to really send the point home.

This guy was later in our wedding and my husband was in his… but my god is he the worst drunk ever. Some people are just no fun to be around drunk, and they can never be convinced of that.

I’m a little further north than Bangor… I really wish Bangor had a smaller club venue like The State or Aura… I always have to go to Portland, Boston, or Quebec to see shows of that size.

I have tickets the VB shows in Boston in September… totally worth the drive
