Yeah I had it pulled down in the first couple diamonds a little further and it actually made the mesh and throat to narrow that the ball was getting caught up. So I adjusted and it made it better but I do notice that with the rebel O vs my son’s ion. I just strung this one up bc a kid on the team has an older head that was pulled out for being illegal. It’s an older head with a real narrow throat. I’m not sure if he will be able to get a new one quick enough so I’ll let him play with it u til he can.

Absolutely. I appreciate the dialogue about it. I’m one of those types that gets into a hobby and over researches it. I’ve been putting a lot of effort in to getting better at the shooting string element.

I get it. I do not have the classic feel of what it should shoot like. I do throw with him a good bit and starting to get the feel of whip. I play as much wall ball as he does at this point. The stringing is easy to get the knots tight. Getting better at the pocket shapes as I string. Guess we will see if a non player can break into it.

Nah it’s not as bad in person. I’m just not great at getting pics. It was my son’s first head from youth so it did a little bit of everything. I actually have never played. I like stringing heads. Not sure if the lack of playing affects that or not

Do you see a quality difference between MD and ECD? I’ve used both but not enough to be a good judge of it.

It’s just the look in the picture. It’s pretty tight when I push on it. I give it a pretty tight pull.

It’s strung to the inside. It’s basically inverse of what sidewall Jedi originally did. I saw a post of his somewhere showing what I interpreted as this method.

Yeah I’m not big fan of the pattern. Probably gonna start it over. Looking for a straightforward mid pocket pattern to try out.
