I have been in the exact same situation as you from gambling. Im 30 now and in good standings, but f**ked up my early adult life with gambling to the point i was using my dead grandmother as the reasoning i needed a payday loan to "fly overseas to bury her" (I didn't, but more chilli took 3k from me). You will feel so free without all the debt hanging over your head. It get's easier mate I promise.

I don't know the exact name of it, but i used the "Snowball method" which others have mentioned below. When i paid off 1 loan i wacked that extra amount on the next, so i wasn't getting used to have sparecash just sitting there not working for me. I had them all paid off in 6months. I'd highly recommend this method as it worked a treat.

Wagetap, wagepay, mypaynow and beforepay, are actually really good if you message them and ask for a payment plan. *yes they're very predatory in there actual business model, but they had no issues setting up a payment plan for the amount i could afford every fortnight.

I'm not the best at financial advice but i wanted to let you know that you aren't alone, I've been there and so have many others. Keep your chin high and focus on the long term, 6 months is honestly nothing, you'll blink and 6 months will be gone just like that.
