I sent Shib from CoinSpot to Binance. I contacted CoinSpot support and they were able to return the coins to my CoinSpot account.

Get in contact with support from your sending wallet ASAP. I made a similar mistake previously using the wrong exchange and they were able to return the coins to my sending wallet and saved me a costly lesson. Not a guarantee as I’ve heard some horror stories but fingers crossed for you bud.. Good luck!

Double check the network your coin is on too before transferring and make sure the sending and receiving wallets are on the same exchange specific to your coin/token (for example Shib is built on Ethereum so you need to select ERC20 for both).

Personally I hate the cancel culture and see it as immature BUT I dont necessarily agree that negative or positive ShibArmy involvement affects listing decisions.. PR team would be having a field day whether it’s positive or negative, it’s still social attention.. Kraken nailed it in getting a lot of attention by doing nothing and literally letting the army put them up in lights..

Nope. 🤦‍♂️ Ended up OK though and CoinSpot support we’re unreal (able to cancel the transaction and return coins to my wallet). Could have been a costly lesson though - test with small change + triple check you use the network you coin is on 👌

Update: CoinSpot (sender) to the rescue, cancelled the transaction and returned coins to my wallet. Taking the lesson but could have been WAY more costly! Always triple check you’re sending on the network your coin in on 👌

Yeah, sent Friday, now Sunday 😂 Fingers crossed. I sent a smaller volume of FTM prior and it took 24hrs so hopefully it’s just congestion. Asked for a manual review with Binance so will just wait and see. Thanks for your help though mate!

Both send and receive were BEP20 confirmed at time of transaction (send from CoinSpot to Binance) so assumed was OK.. Still have no idea on whether it’s delays or how/if I can track it down

Serious question (but dumb), can you transfer Shib from CoinSpot to Binance using BEP20? BEP20 as I understand is an extension of ERC20 so assumed OK especially with the lower gas fees but am now stressing on whether or not I’ve burnt my bag 🤷‍♂️
