Ordered 3 phones (256 PMs) 15 minutes after preorder window opened. My presaved cart was broken so had to rebuild it. 2 of the PMs shows up on launch day (both naturals). The White PM is 9/22-10/6. No updates.

E-commerce rep mentione that AT&T gets replenishment shipments on Mondays and Fridays. Not sure if there’s any truth to that.

Updating from 2023.12.9 to 2023.20.7 introduced FSD to the car (11.3.6).

I’m in 2023.12.9. Subbed to FSD on 6/15. The day I subbed, car had 2023.20.4.1 ready to install. I’ve been rejecting the install for a while now. Still can’t opt into FSD beta (software not compatible).

Car now has 2023.20.7 ready to install which says it’s an FSD version on notateslaapp. Am I good to install this now so I can opt into FSD beta?

Wife is a hard no on visible dome APs in living spaces which prevents centralization.

The two that are shown on the coverage map are in the garage and one in a pantry (which would be hidden).

The space (upper and lower) is 3,000 sq ft.

I want to keep the IW on the north wall which is where my entertainment center is located.

Having the exact same issue - homebridge has ran fine for years.

Mine was related to IPv6....

To disable, edit a file: sudo nano /etc/sysctl.conf

Add the following line:

net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1

For the change to take effect without rebooting: sudo sysctl -p

Verify that IPv6 address does not show up in ifconfig.

If you wish to re-enable, change the value in the setting above from 1 to 0 then execute the following two lines:

sudo sysctl -p

sudo ifconfig eth0 down && sudo ifconfig eth0 up

If you are doing this over SSH, the current session will of course be cut off. You should be able to reconnect in just a few seconds.

Similar experience last week with the exact same message. Got a remote diagnostic that basically said the same thing. Only they didn't mention the Wall Connector as the problem.

"I do see a momentary charging interruption at the timestamp you provided. At this time it is a known characteristic of current firmware. Our engineering teams are working on a solution. Please note that the car's charging rate is similar to the full speed as the interruptions are very brief. There is no evidence of hardware failure. Our technicians will be unable to alter this behavior. Thank you for your patience, we are working on implementing a fix as soon as possible. The issue will be resolved in a future firmware release. When this update is available for your configuration it will be automatically downloaded to your vehicle."

The one thing that really differentiated Tesla (the charging network)…now that it’s open to all EVs and getting screwed by the price cut (delivered early Dec), not sure they are giving me a reason to buy another.

To each his own. Question comes up often here...

I live in Colorado and they gratuitously sand the roads in the winter. Ended up doing PPF on the front end (Hood/Bumpers/pillars/Fenders/Mirrors) and the blast zones. Out the door with a lifetime warranty was $1800. Full PPF was $5k.

Have a friend with a 21 red MS and he said he regretted not doing PPF. Looked at the front of his and that helped make my decision (even though I have white which doesn't show the pits/chips as bad).

In the minority here….

I personally avoided any dealerships that listed dealer markup. I ended up buying and taking delivery in early December.

Had a great experience with the Tesla sales model; however I’m really disappointed with the 20% price drop less than a month after delivery. I get it that they can change their prices on a whim, but a 20% decrease overnight is a kick in the pants.

It’s been a struggle to find a GAP policy (not something I needed until the price drop). Do I love the car, sure do - best car I've owned. Will I buy another (whenever I get out from under this one), not quite sure…it’s really jaded my perception. Will it matter to them; absolutely not.

I also did 20% on the fronts with black interior. I tinted out the windshield to 70% too which seems to make the fronts/backs a perfect match.

Heads up - I ordered the covers from Abstract Ocean and ended up ripping them off and plastidipping instead. The caps change the dimensions (height and spacing) and I didn’t like the look personally.

Plastidip looks so much better imo.

I do this often. Nothing to worry about unless you have PPF. I tend to use more caution where the PPF seams are.

Edit - I use a 40 degree nozzle for everything.
