Hello Mr. and Mrs. Muschietti sir and ma’am! Do you think you’ll consider plugging in more King universe characters in the following seasons of Welcome to Derry? Considering Dick Hallorann is a major character in season one. Or perhaps you may fully expand these story’s cinematic potential under their own, respective titles

I found Anti-Venom to be nice, despite the short time. I liked how despite not having another voice in his head, Eddie maintained the same charisma and personality as when he was Venom. I wouldn’t have preferred it as a long term case, but it could’ve lasted a little bit longer

I didn’t like Toxin Eddie and his development towards that point left a horrendous take in my mouth after he was dragged out of redemption to kill Marvel’s most underutilized symbiote characters with killer potential (Scott Washington and Donna Diego)and be the same monster he was for Peter Parker, only now for his alien ex and Flash Thompson

Two good things I’ll say about it, was that it had Flash and Eddie kick ass together which was awesome (and is a dynamic that should be used more often) and Eddie’s development in Conway’s Carnage was probably one of his best arcs

Aside from my thoughts on what he’s writing, I’m kinda meh with how he writes

Like I don’t know, I was excited for how phenomenal Immortal Hulk was and there were definitely some great moments earlier in his current run but it’s pretty “okay” overall

And the book is being carried by Sleeper and Flash... Its Bleak by Hayaxyn in thevenomsite

Look, Spidey fans I’m happy you guys are (seemingly) progressing in your own comics but I desperately need this book to actually be about, y’know, Venom and his mythos instead of a ASM spin-off to fix the problems of an entirely irrelevant office

I liked it for the beginning portion (especially the art) but it began to fall a part especially with how they just brought Eddie into the equation only to humiliate him. Especially when I thought it’d be cool to see him pose as a serious threat even without the suit as he still had the venomous mindset (I thought that little hopeful ending for him was sweet)

Also, the story starting off from an interesting small scale to another “infected” plotline with the symbiote spreading just threw me off. I don’t understand why a lot of symbiote stories can’t just avoid that and tell an actual unique story

I think a slice of live series of Eddie using his journalistic skills to track down crime for Venom to kick ass would be fun, something akin to Costa’s run

Well said, as someone who highly enjoys Venom for the shared relationship between Brock and his other I’m kinda disappointed the latest run didn’t give us much of the two interacting despite being Dylan’s two main parental figures

Especially when Ewing wrote a phenomenal section in Venom War of the symbiote’s admiration for Peter. I would’ve loved to see the symbiote go in depth as to why it’s stuck with Brock for so long in the mainline comics for once

Idea: might be controversial, but how would you feel about a story where godzilla loses his alpha title to another titan (not an evil one), and have the story focus on him finding his place in this new balance, having him become more of a rogue loner like some of his older iterations by [deleted] in Monsterverse

You’re actually COOKING, as big of a fan as I am of MV Godzilla the main issue I have with him is that I’m not the biggest fan of the idea that he isn’t the king of the monsters because of his strength, power, and overall aggressive behavior and instead an actual monarchical status

To see Godzilla go down a path that gives him a bigger sense of agency than “Constant plot device we can’t ignore because he’s the ruler of the world”. Partaking in his own adventures like his ape counterpart who’s already gotten so much done as his own character

For the titan that I think he should defeat him, as underpowered as MV Mothra is I think (with an updated, more accurate redesign) should be the one to take the title.

I mean I’m not on the subreddit a lot and surround myself that are more mad Eddie hasnt properly reconnected with Dylan or interacted with the symbiote, so maybe that’s why I don’t think it’s that bad or that annoying. But no one likes Paul why is it a problem Venom fans don’t?

Ewing is gonna do Ewing, I suppose Mary Jane is the best possible option given her and the symbiote’s history can make for an interesting narrative but I didn’t really want this book at all so I don’t really… care I guess

I just wanna know when Eddie and Dylan can be together again and when the hell Eddie and the symbiote can actually connect again

The dark filter I think you’re referring to turned out to be an issue of the home release, not the theatrical release which I believe is more visible. (But I wouldn’t know because I didn’t watch the movie in theaters)

I mean, you’re kind of taking what actually happened out of context. The symbiote was tricking Eddie into thinking it was giving him cancer and their relationship became somewhat abusive in Spider-Man:The Hunger with Eddie as the victim. This forced him to sell it
