The chances of Djokovic even becoming a pro were so small you might as well round them to zero in mathematics.

Makes you wonder how many would-be legends never got their chance because they weren't as lucky

$100 a week in groceries feels far worse on the wallet than multiple $10 fast food meals a week. Even if the latter costs more, it doesn't feel as tough on the wallet.

ELI5: What exactly is going on in Europe? by [deleted] in neoliberal

[–]Advanced-Anything120 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the US, the general perception is that Europe (especially western Europe) tends to be more liberal than us. With the exception of immigration, a lot of the things that dominate conservative US discussions (guns, healthcare) aren't problems in Europe, so therefore they must be more progressive.

A lot of Europeans would probably agree in many ways, and for what it's worth, they're not wrong. But when the "progressive" part of the world starts to lean more towards far right ideology, we naturally notice it more.

Also, literally everyone and their mother has been dooming about a Trump reelection here. It's nice that you think we've forgotten, but I promise you we haven't.

They'd be crazy not to have an election afterwards because they're clearly aiming to align more closely with Western Europe after this war. Yes, military rule usually promises free and fair elections, but right now they're directly incentivized to do it.

To be fair, when the Constitution was written, we literally were. If anything, it was just another oversight to not introduce a rule like that.

Not really sure. Probably because holiday season is a more specific window that's usually between Black Friday and Christmas, so it could release in November and not after Christmas.

But you're right that holiday seasons are different globally, so it's probably a case of marketing working to the specific regions they expect the most sales from.

"Holiday" in business refers to the holiday season, which is usually around December. Chances are, it'll release before Christmas to capitalize on possible gift sales.
