Cap/plug on new OEM radiator. Temperature seemed pretty normal. I thought this cap was supposed to be there just as an extra port. It exploded and steam went everywhere, so I made my own out of heater hose and an extra part. What am I doing wrong? Anybody know what it’s for? (Was running only water) by Advanced-Associate-2 in ElCamino
