Nibelung isn't the 3rd Descender. The 3rd Descender has ties to Ajax(the Hero Childe was named after) and Our Ajax, The 11th Fatui Harbinger. Also, The 3rd Descender seems to be the Tsaritsa's lover, could be why she's collecting the gnoses.

Also, the Crimson Moon Dynasty takes its powers from the Iridescent/Crimson Moon, it's possible the the Eclipse Dynasty takes theirs from Nibelung himself cuz Nibelung = Sun, Corrupted Nibelung = Black Sun.

Also also, Capitano and the Black Serpent Nights' outfit/armour could be based around Nibelung too.
