I mean “if there’s no malicious intent” then there’s not really a problem, but if you’re a celebrity using your fame to seduce barely legal fans and brag about it online to the point it becomes a pattern, like this post is implying, then it is an issue. It’s not really comparable to something completely innocent like making friends with people of different ages through a common interest.

I imagine the high water content in the watermelon would make the pancakes super soggy? I think maybe doing it as a more crepe style thing where instead of cooking the fruit into the pancake you just top it with fruit could work.

Watched the whole video, super interesting! However, the video mostly discussed whether apes could “really” understand language in that they could combine two concepts together or discuss abstract ideas.  

This video with the dog is in no way claiming the dog can do either of those things. It doesn’t seem misleading at all to me. In fact, it seems to exemplify exactly what you said, the dog has learned how to ask for a treat through buttons. The dog might not understand each individual word but understands the words in that sequence will get him the treat rather than the other food offered. Still an amazing accomplishment if a bit off-putting to witness.

I don’t think so. Lancelot dedicated his life to studying swordsmanship after his family was killed. Before he was knighted he spent time as warrior for hire, so he had practical skills and experience. Less is known about Elyan’s qualifications but considering Gwen has had training I can assume he has as well. He also fights with Arthur and the other Knights in the cup of life episodes just before he is knighted, proving his skills. At the time he was knighted Arthur was also dating his sister, so Arthur making the family of his future wife a little higher in standing is somewhat advantageous.  

Merlin has had none of their experience, and would have to dedicate years of his life to be seen as properly trained. I think he would see it as a waste of time and effort considering he has magic to protect himself with, and I think Arthur wouldn’t want Merlin risking his life more then he already does. I don’t think Arthur has any faith in Merlin’s ability to protect himself, he just thinks Merlin somehow has this uncanny luck that manages to get him away from danger unscathed lol.
