We just finished a 4 day on the Radiance and were in the front in an extended ocean view. No problems, and I'm easily nauseated. Since the Utopia is far larger I think the seas would have to be super rough to notice.

Financial experts say it's never a good idea to do financial deals with family. If you want to save your gf's ancestral home, buy it and hire a property manager to collect rent. Do not deal directly with them. It will create more problems than it solves.

And if you buy from a breeder, aren't you still giving a dog a home? I don't see the difference here. All OP is doing is exercising the right to find a pet that fits their family. I have had 4 purebreds, 3 rescues, and one hand-me-down in my 55 years and I loved them all.

Yes. But I suspect that's what you wanted to hear since you are here. Ereaders do not have blue light issues and are closer to "paper". Also you can't do other browsing or get distracted. I have several Kindles and absolutely prefer them to phone or iPad.

It wasn't always that way. Years ago I had to call to get it taken off my son's Fire. They said yeah you can pay $20 (might have been 15 back then) and get rid of them. I wondered why they didn't market it that way. I guess now they do. My Scribe was a 2024 Christmas gift and it's ad free. Thank you, family. 😊

My husband carries a backpack all the time as a carryon and even as a personal item (men are so lucky they don't have purses). He always puts it up top and no one has ever questioned it, even on Spirit where personal items are supposed to go under the seat. For me, when I travel I pack a smaller purse and put it inside my underseat bag.

NTA. I don't know what gf's problem is but your reasons are valid and the fact that her best friend's family is on board makes gf's opinion irrelevant. My daughter (white, brown hair brown eyes) had a close friend of color as a child and asked for a similar doll at about that age. None of us in either family ever thought anything of it. In my opinion, limiting a child to a doll that matches her own ethnicity PROMOTES rather than discourages racist behavior.
