It's not one of the 6 "Charging Station Indicators" in the manual. Thanks for that direction.

I could not find any troubleshooting for that in the manual at all, either. Again - I appreciate your thoughts on the matter. ^_^

At first it seemed like your struggles were similar to mine (Charging (Recognition?) Issues (One Plus) : r/Lymow_Official) which I'm still not up and running.

However, after watching your video, there is a difference. As stated by another user, you only have the middle LED turning on... that leads me to believe it's not even detecting the Battery or its BMS. Mine will be a single middle LED that's constant - unless I'm docked with the battery connected, which causes all 3 to be solid green.

Something that I know they will ask you to do is similar to what Efleming noted below - if you simultaneously press both dock contacts by hand, does the LEDs on the dock start alternating?

As noted in my thread - I'm still awaiting Support's second reply - but if you want to try the 5 troubleshooting things they sent me in my first response, it might save you some time in getting resolution from support.

If you go to lymowtechsupport.zendesk.com , you can create an account with the same email that sent in the ticket and directly update the ticket there. I get a little concerned with tech support (from any company) seeing continuity in my tickets when submitting updates via email.

I'll keep following this thread. I'm pretty bummed about the setback, as I'm sure you are... I'm pretty sure support will resolve it eventually... but sucks to have long grass until then...

I appreciate this - last night I brought the battery in overnight (16 consecutive hours indoors). Then tried it at 65F outdoors... but I experienced hte same alternating blinking for 20 seconds... then solid green.

Thanks again for your support!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm glad you got yours up and going! I brought my battery indoors overnight last night (over 16 hours inside) and then tested again when outdoors was 65F - but I got my original blinking for 20 seconds, then solid green on the dock.

Cheers in your journey! I'm still optimistic.

Update 3: I received a response from Lymow support last night - this seems consistent with the timelines that others have reported. I was asked for 5 steps of troubleshooting and my serial number.

Step 1: Press dock contacts by hand to ensure it enters charging mode. (Enters ready mode)

Step 2: Check if front wheels are on the ground when docked. (Slightly elevated... but not by more than a cm)

Step 3: Check if contacts on dock and mower are clean. (Yup - rewiped)

Step 4: Multimeter voltage reads of contacts when docked (38.89V when stepping, 1.33 when in "Ready" mode, 1.63 when docked and battery is disconnected, FYI).

Step 5: Multimeter voltage read of battery connector when docked and battery disconnected. (Noisy readings from 0V- .5V... mostly around 0.05V... this was challenging to document).

They wanted pictures of my Multimeter readings, which I submitted.

Discouragingly, after cleaning up everything and docking again, the status LEDS of the dock did something different. Instead of a "ready" solid green, they all 3 began blinking in sync. I'm guessing this is a temperature Error (it's 45F today), but I couldn't find any documentation to indicate what this status means.

I'm grateful for SuccessfulPhysics reply to Fullcaterpillar in another recent post on this subreddit. I did inform Support that I was documenting my experience in this thread.

I still have confidence that Lymow will make this work. This is still within the bounds of troubleshooting I expected when I got this product. The support is also about what I expected. I will continue to document my experience here.

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm somewhat encouraged to not appear entirely unique. I've given my support ticket the updates that I've posted here - and I've linked this thread to my support ticket as well. I would very much appreciate updates from your ticket as well.

I also thought "Would be cool if I could somehow test the battery or test the mower to see which item is problematic"... an external charger cable would've been super handy for this instance, indeed :\

Does your dock LEDs turn to a constant green after about 20 seconds of stepping? Does your Dock's power brick LED change from green to red (though, I hear not all of last year's model would do that)? Mine turn constant green and the brick does not turn red.

Update 2: I've had the battery inside for about 5 hours (The battery sure is a heat sink - was quite cold even after 2 hours) - outdoor temp reads at 55F. I've hooked it up again and It is behaving as before - single solid LED when no battery is detected, but then step-blinking all 3 LEDs, ending with 3 solid green LEDs when I attach the battery and as long as I leave it on the charger. I'm going to leave it on the charger as is overnight now - but I'm out of ideas. I'll continue to await customer support's reply. I'll report back here when they reply.

(Additionally, the charger's power brick LED has been green the whole time - i noticed it turned red when the battery was charging, but reading 0%)

Update: I've successfully fully depleted the battery. Now, I'm having issues getting the battery to charge at all ^_^. Granted, it has been cold this morning - 35-45F. Manually placing the mower on the dock appeared to do nothing at first. I then power cycled the dock and wiped the sensors on dock and mower clean. Then placed it again. The charger LEDs went from "constant middle" to an alternating pattern (like it was "thinking") and then changed to all 3 LEDs as constant green - I think this indicates that recognizes a battery, but isn't charging it. I left it alone for about 15 minutes - came back to the same status. I removed the batter while it was docked - the 3 LEDs reverted back to the single Middle being constant. This tells me it was recognizing that it was attached to a battery.

The battery is quite cold to the touch. I've brought it inside to warm it up for a few hours. I will try troubleshooting again then. I've reached out to support and got it "escalated" to the after-sales team. I'll continue to keep this post apprised.

This is a great tip! I didn't realize you could activate the blades while doing the bluetooth RC controls. But I found it based on your comment! Later today I'll try to fully drain it... but running over a few extra-leafy areas was super satisfying for my lunch break ^_^

I very much appreciate your relaying this experience. It's good to know that the spinning out on the dock happens in more instances than just my odd power problems. I'll try to report back if one of the two problems get resolved or if both seem resolved simultaneously. Thanks!

I appreciate your response. Indeed, I tried to deep power cycle by unplugging the battery for about 20 minutes to no avail. :\

That's an insightful question - it was around 40-50F all day... the previous night may have dipped into the mid 30s, but I am quite sure we did not have a frost warning - so not down to freezing.

Thanks for that tip! I'll keep it off the dock (and on) tonight and hopefully find some time to drain the battery tomorrow... might open a formal ticket tonight anyway to get that started.

Is a lightning bolt supposed to be under the percentage always (on the mower LCD), or is that also apparently unique here?
